A great little community gem! These negative reviews are a little surprising to me. It's a new spot so ofc there are a few kinks to work out. They don't have a kitchen, so confection ovens are used, which is why you'll see the owner diligently working behind the bar. I love that it's not pretentious and the food is cozy, homey. I came here on a weekday morning, stopped on my way to work. I thought it was more of a bakery than a cafe but they do make their own bread in house. I ordered an everything bagel and this bagel had full onion slices on the top, which I have never seen before. The bagel was really good, and I ordered a latte as well. Delicious pastries that are at the same level as Tartine, which is just down the street. They also had perfectly chewy bagels with house-made burrata cream cheese. The staff was very friendly and ambience felt like getting transported to a bakery in Italy. What more could you want!
