SanSai is my go-to place for some quick and tasty teriyaki plates in Westwood. Conveniently located adjacent to UCLA, it is not difficult to miss this place. I am fond of the brick walls that compliment the wooden ambiance. It took me at least two visits to know the difference between their "bowls" vs. plates. You know, I really don't like giving low stars but this location just doesn't live up to my experiences with other Sansai locations. I think most people know that they can expect just okay sushi and some decent rice dishes with some okay salad. Everything about this brand is basically middle of the road quality- nothing to write home about but not lowest quality food.
