BREADS ARE NOT WHAT THEY ONCE WERE WHEN THE REAL ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THE BAKERY, HERMAN SCHWARTZ. THOSE WERE THE DAYS OF SUPERIOR EUROPEAN BAKED GOODS. THE HALLA'S ARE SAID TO HAVE TOO MUCH SALT IN THEM MAKING THEM SO DIFFERENT AND NOT DELICIOUS AS ONCE UPON A TIME. EVERYONE MISSES THE TRUE OWNERS OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT, SO MORE EXCELLENT THAN NOW........

Their bread and pastries are high quality and some of the best in LA. Just had one if their donuts and I'm obsessed. Divine.
