“I went to Annie's for the first time today and ordered the Mexicali sandwich and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sandwich had just the right amount of spiciness to it with the chipotle sauce and jalapenos. The fries were amazing and crispy too. Everyone that works there was very attentive and super friendly. I live right around the corner and I will definitely be back to try the breakfast and mimosas. I told my husband it was a 10 out of 10.“

“This is one of the best pizza places, probably in El Dorado county. I’ve been to quite a few pizza places, but not only the pizza but the customer service. Being greeted with a smile every time you go in the fast service it’s clean exterior and interior. And it is absolutely positively the best darn pizza and I’ve ever had ! Mind you I have tried the all meat, combination n the vegetarian. And all of the pieces I’ve had and next one I’m gonna get the Stromboli but every pizza I’ve had has been the most delicious well prepared Amazing tasteful lots of condiments on it. If I had anything that I would say wasn’t my favorite it would be the beer cheese dip that came with our garlic bread( bread was great). I am Irish and I expected a nice creamy cheddar cheese with a beer influence. Unfortunately, it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything but the heat. Maybe they should offer a milder version along with the spicy. Kinda bummed because I wouldn’t order it again. Just an idea.“

“This winery is one of the best! We visited for a wine tasting and the gentleman was so informative about the wines and how they are harvested, we couldn’t get enough of his knowledge! The wines, all six, that we selected on our own were excellent! We will probably join the club when we get home! Also, there is a picnic area that you can purchase a charcuterie board or cheese and crackers, spreads and dips to sit down and enjoy with your bottle of wine! It’s fantastic!“

“I found this Take out restaurant from an article in The Sacramento Bee. Timmy's is not easy to find, but well worth the effort, It is located in a small complex on Main Street in Placerville near the Court House. The menu is very eclectic. I had the spicy prawn sandwich with a side of tater tots. Both were made fresh and served in a timely manner. The sandwich was flavorful and not overly spicy. The staff was informative and helpful. The prices were a bit high but well worth it for the quality.“

“This is my new happy place! The line was short for a Saturday morning. The girls working here were super sweet. I ordered the Lox bagel on "the works" (everything bagel). It was fantastic. The bagel was not too fluffy and just the right amount of chewy - perfectly toasted. Lots of salmon and cream cheese and all the goodies. Well worth it. I'm already ready to go back!“

“This burger joint is close to my home, so I have been a regular consumer. One favorite was the Chinese Chicken salad. Their limited hours makes it tough to eat there. They take no orders after 6:30 pm and close the indoor seating early as well. Recently, they raised their prices significantly. At these rates I would rather eat at a nicer place such as the Tap House or Brick Oven Pub.“

Make sure you start with the Piemontese Bagna Cauda (AKA "Hot Bath"). It's the best flat bread you'll ever have, without hyperbole: crispy outside, wonderfully doughy inside. For main courses… take your pick. The pizza— traditional Napoli Italian style— is perfect, no matter which one you choose. The other entrees are just as good. Don’t be put off by the use of polenta in place of traditional pasta. I was skeptical at first, but the first bite washed away all misgivings. These people know how to cook! Bene, Cirino’s, Sergio’s, Three Forks… all the best Italian places in the foothills will have to fight for second place.“
