Outside seating only. Small place, waiting line can get full on busy days, but ok, because people can sit on near by picnic benches under shady trees, rental prices are reasonable.“

“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.“

“Excellent customer service and the shop is always clean. Cookies are getting more expensive but the quality seems to be the same, if not a bit less satisfying as the only cookie that I always recommend is the original chocolate chip one as it’s tried and true. They have different flavors often and are innovative but most of the time it’s doing too much so I am now sticking to the original only. Would definitely recommend this place but not too often as the calories definitely add up while your wallet is the only thing getting skinnier.“

“We hosted our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Auburn Alehouse, and it was absolutely phenomenal. We feel so blessed that this special evening took place there. Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef’s kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer. If you are in Auburn, driving from Reno to the Bay Area, or heading up the mountain, stop here. They are also a fantastic choice for private events and can work with your budget. They even host private events at their Annex across the street. We are so grateful we chose Auburn Alehouse for such an important family celebration. Highly recommend! “I had been passing by this restaurant for a while, and I was genuinely excited to finally stop in and review it. Right from the moment I walked through the door, my initial impressions were highly positive because the entire dining area is exceptionally clean and well-kept. Complementing the spotless environment, the staff provides excellent service throughout the meal, remaining both attentive and welcoming from start to finish. I decided to order the Black Ramen, which turned out to be a very good bowl of food with just a few minor areas for improvement. The pork was incredibly tender, though it could have used a bit more seasoning to really elevate its flavor profile. On the other hand, the egg was executed flawlessly and cooked perfectly. While the broth is a bit thin, it remains highly flavorful. If the kitchen could develop and deepen those broth flavors just a little bit more, this dish would easily cross the line from good to excellent. Additionally, the fresh vegetables add a great, tasty element to the bowl, and the kitchen serves a very generous quantity of properly prepared noodles. Bottom line, the ramen here is very good, and it would be absolutely outstanding with a few small tweaks to the broth and meat. I had a great experience and would certainly recommend giving them a visit.“

“The best little hole-in-the wall Oaxaqueno (Oaxacan) Mexican restaurant! Traditional dishes are served here with beautiful presentation. The most delicious mole roja! They offer many authentic specialties straight from Oaxaca including Tlayudas! They even offer dishes with chapulines (grasshoppers). I did not try them though.

The waitress put up with my terrible Spanish when I told her I like to practice. She was cheerful and attentive. The restaurant is casual. They offer a comfortably air conditioned, screened patio. l will be back to eat my way through their extensive menu! What are you waiting for? Go now!“
