“We love Rosie's atmosphere and family friendly vibes! I enjoy that I can always bring our kids and they have a no matter what is going. (Card games, connect 4, Tetris, and of course they love that they can attend the events like; live music, trivia and tournaments. As for the quality menu, there's always something for everyone. The spicy shrimp bowl is my go to! I also love the Brekkie panini and breakfast burrito for brunch. TBH it's also my go to stop whenever I'm craving something sweet. Jen's cakes and desserts are always coming in clutch! Will & Taylor are always happy to greet us, prompt with service and always a great conversation. This has definitely become one our favorite local spots to chill at.“

“If you love BBQ and you're a local or just passing through Cool, CA, you want to try Stubby's Breakfast and BBQ. It was the first place my son and I tried after moving to the area. We were so impressed, both loving their smoked meat. I was a tri tip fan only but I fell in love with their brisket. Great flavor, moist and tender! When they have ribs, love those too! Delicious sides. My fav: beer baked beans and the mac and cheese. They make their own BBQ sauce. The venue is nicely done and they also have outdoor seating which is very pleasant. Looks over peaceful fields and rolling hills. Since our first visit we have been back many times. The owners are lovely and hospitality very personable.“

“Friendly associates! Short walking from beach, plenty of parking and restrooms available. Mostly fingerfoods and variety of drinks for kids and adults. Fun and colorful decorations. Outside seating only. Small place, waiting line can get full on busy days, but ok, because people can sit on near by picnic benches under shady trees, rental prices are reasonable.“

“We hosted our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Auburn Alehouse, and it was absolutely phenomenal. We feel so blessed that this special evening took place there. Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef’s kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer. If you are in Auburn, driving from Reno to the Bay Area, or heading up the mountain, stop here. They are also a fantastic choice for private events and can work with your budget. They even host private events at their Annex across the street. We are so grateful we chose Auburn Alehouse for such an important family celebration. Highly recommend! “I had a wonderful experience at Depoe Bay Coffee Roasters. The coffee was rich, fresh, and full of flavor, making it one of the best cups I've had in a while. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or meeting up with friends. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to recommend their favorite drinks. I also tried one of their baked treats, and it was fresh and delicious. It's clear they take pride in both their coffee and customer service. “My Tuesday men's group, mostly seniors, played The Ridge yesterday and had a good round. It would have been a great round; however, it's still soggy from the December rains, like all local courses. The cart path only conditions slowed play to about a 5 hour round which is understandable. The course was in very good shape for the damp conditions. The green's were very fast which made things interesting, but fun. a few of our uphill putts went past the hole, stopped, then roll back toward or past the hole.“

Would recommend the salmon over Mary's chicken. Server was kind and gracious. Ordering as you enter, from a chalkboard is a little different. The chef is very talented, just wish the service was a little more upscale.“

“El Agave just catered my wedding. It was a small gathering, taco bar for 50 people. We picked it up and served it in chafing dishes. ALL of our guests raved over the food. 3 meats and all of the fixings. From the initial communication with Andrea to the food pickup, you guys were amazing!“

“Second time visiting. First time was lunch, second time was dinner with family. Both times have been exceptional. Great menu that is reasonable priced and exceptional wait staff. My lasagna was a Italian meatloaf. Another words, the chef does not skimp on ingredients. The caprese salad is a must. You will enjoy the over buttery garlic bread that is served with dinner.“

“Maria's Mexican Tacos is the best! And I've had burritos from all over California and love this place. The carnitas are always perfectly crisped, the tortilla is nicely grilled toasty and the salsa is spicy. Great whole beans.“

“Hard to believe I am writing a review for a food trailer in front of a Home Depot, but it was so good, so here we are. I was walking out and wanted a quick bite before hitting the road, so I thought I'd grab a hotdog, but then I saw someone else at their picnic table having what looked like a huge pastrami sandwich, and indeed it was, it was their reuben. Since the Max's at Holiday Inn is no longer a real Max's you can't get a good corned beef or Pastrami sandwich there anymore. You know what? Who cares? The reuben from Brew To Go was absolutely piled high with pastrami and it was delicious! Weird recommendation, but seriously. You want an absolutely killer sandwich? Go to Home Depot in Auburn :) Also the service was great and super friendly.“

“This is one of my favorite bakeries and I plan to get my birthday cake from them this year.

The bakery tends to be busy as its a very popular spot. My sister loves their coffee as they do blueberry or blackberry lattes with other fun flavors too! Personally I love their cake of the week, because I get to try new unique flavors I've never heard of before. One of my favorites was their strawberry margarita cake but i havent seen it as the cake of the week again since i first saw it unfortunately :/

Sometimes the cake of the week can be a bit dry or not hit the spot- but the 90% of the time the flavors are unique with thr texture and moisture being just right! Plus it allows for seasonal flavors- like rge mandarin cake during the fall ( a must try with all the local mandarin farms in the area )

Since its often busy there are a lot of staff to meet the demand of the near constant flow of customers and if you're lucky you might get to enjoy some people watching and good natured joking among them. Thry are very pleasant and effiecient at what they do.“

“First impression, it was quaint and quiet. The counter girl, Tatyana, (hope I spelled that correctly) the first face of the restaurant, was such a delight! She has impeccable customer service and was considerate in knowing her pos system and gave a mindful charge for my kids’ plain burger request. The male cook was trying to argue she needed to charge more, I don’t find it professional for customers to hear that as he could’ve said something off to the side, or better yet not at all since my kids didn’t even eat much of the burger… yet the restaurant still got paid for 3 specials (2 Swiss mushroom burgers and 1 California burger), two large fries and 4 drinks.

I digress - all in all Tatyana is great, the food was delicious even though a bit greasy, and the atmosphere there was nice along with the cuteness of the town.

I would definitely stop here for a bite again, but only as long as she remains front of the house. Great eats and great service.“

“Best Veggie Omelette ever anywhere. Just hear for a wedding and always look for a local spot. Amazing fresh fruit with my omelette and I asked for Light Butter on my toasted Rye and that is exactly what I got. Would definitely go back, may go on the way out of town in 2 days.“
