“We love Rosie's atmosphere and family friendly vibes! I enjoy that I can always bring our kids and they have a no matter what is going. (Card games, connect 4, Tetris, and of course they love that they can attend the events like; live music, trivia and tournaments. As for the quality menu, there's always something for everyone. The spicy shrimp bowl is my go to! I also love the Brekkie panini and breakfast burrito for brunch. TBH it's also my go to stop whenever I'm craving something sweet. Jen's cakes and desserts are always coming in clutch! Will & Taylor are always happy to greet us, prompt with service and always a great conversation. This has definitely become one our favorite local spots to chill at.“

“My wife & I along with our two friends visited the Auburn Alehouse this Sunday. We just finished a beautiful hike along the American River and everyone was indeed of a cold beer.
The Alehouse is in a beautiful historic building in the hart of Old Aburn. They are dog friendly with a nice outside seating area. There were numerous home brews on tap. We all had several rounds of the Gold County Pillsner. Good beer, cold & refreshing like a Pills should be. Our server was on top of it. She kept the beers coming and had a great attitude. Everyone had an a good experience, and we look forward to our next visit.“

“We chose this place when other local restaurants were closed on Tuesday. We were very glad we did! Everyone had wonderful pizza, spaghetti, calzone and cheesy breadsticks. The pizza, especially was hot, cheesy, crispy edges, and the pepperoni was perfect!“

“Who doesn't like a brewery who constantly gives back to its community. I don't think they ever say no to a charity, nonprofit or anyone who may need to raise funds in Auburn. Oh and I love their new Rice beer called "Rising Sun"“

“My Tuesday men's group, mostly seniors, played The Ridge yesterday and had a good round. It would have been a great round; however, it's still soggy from the December rains, like all local courses. The cart path only conditions slowed play to about a 5 hour round which is understandable. The course was in very good shape for the damp conditions. The green's were very fast which made things interesting, but fun. a few of our uphill putts went past the hole, stopped, then roll back toward or past the hole.“

Our group were informed when the food will come out, and provided recommendations of the food. We were surprised by their delicious food and good service.“

“Great subs! Their food is fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and do well at making your sub fast. You can get points each time and end up earning a free sub after a bit. For some reason the Tuna Mini is my favorite! I need to try them all though!“

“We held our Gold Trail School Reunion here in June, 2023. Teal was wonderful host accommodating our group and the reasonably-priced dinner with vegetarian options was delicious. Thank you Teal for giving us such a wonderful venue to hold our reunion.“

“I can’t say enough about Depot Bay first let me say that we brought our business to Auburn three years ago. We knew no one and as people do, they try to find their place in a new town. The moment I walked into Depot Bay I felt welcome the coffee roasted right there the staff friendly patient and knowledgeable this place has something in the atmosphere. It just feels like home. I would give six stars if it were possible don’t pass this place up. You’ll love it.“

“I don’t usually write reviews… but I really want to promote this one.

I called them the morning of my friend’s wedding because we needed an emergency wedding cake (I’ll spare the details on why we didn’t already have one).

The Baker and the Cakemaker saved the day.

Don’t assume they’ll always be able to make miracles happen, because that’s not fair to them. But they went out of their way to repurpose one of their cakes into something perfect for the day for what we needed.

Definitely would recommend. Great cakes, food, atmosphere and out of the box thinking.“

“El Agave just catered my wedding. It was a small gathering, taco bar for 50 people. We picked it up and served it in chafing dishes. ALL of our guests raved over the food. 3 meats and all of the fixings. From the initial communication with Andrea to the food pickup, you guys were amazing!“

“Best Veggie Omelette ever anywhere. Just hear for a wedding and always look for a local spot. Amazing fresh fruit with my omelette and I asked for Light Butter on my toasted Rye and that is exactly what I got. Would definitely go back, may go on the way out of town in 2 days.“

“First impression, it was quaint and quiet. The counter girl, Tatyana, (hope I spelled that correctly) the first face of the restaurant, was such a delight! She has impeccable customer service and was considerate in knowing her pos system and gave a mindful charge for my kids’ plain burger request. The male cook was trying to argue she needed to charge more, I don’t find it professional for customers to hear that as he could’ve said something off to the side, or better yet not at all since my kids didn’t even eat much of the burger… yet the restaurant still got paid for 3 specials (2 Swiss mushroom burgers and 1 California burger), two large fries and 4 drinks.

I digress - all in all Tatyana is great, the food was delicious even though a bit greasy, and the atmosphere there was nice along with the cuteness of the town.

I would definitely stop here for a bite again, but only as long as she remains front of the house. Great eats and great service.“

The only bad thing I have to say is that a lady came into the restaurant with her little dog and they didn't ask her to leave the dog outside in the car or ask her to sit on the patio under the heaters. I LOVE dogs, but inside a restaurant is not the place for them. They lost a star for that.“

“Maria's Mexican Tacos is the best! And I've had burritos from all over California and love this place. The carnitas are always perfectly crisped, the tortilla is nicely grilled toasty and the salsa is spicy. Great whole beans.“

“I went there today and had one hot dog and the guy that helped me a younger gentleman was awesome he cut it in half and then the other half I had him cut it in half because I had two fur babies in the car he did perfect and the dog tastes good hot dog that is LOL thank you I'll be back Arnold said that“
