“I go here after work now because it's atmosphere has changed quite a bit and it's due to customer service and servers like Vincent he is absolutely awesome. His personality and his professionalism goes above and beyond. He does everything for you to have a great meal at Denny's he gets 100% for customer service“
“Got here before they open and there was a line of people waiting already. Once we got in all the people in line got tables. Food was great and was served pretty fast.Parking: Parking lot across the street ($4), lots of metered parking around place . If you get metered parking and leave before 8am it will be free..“
“Had a wonderful experience at Denny’s today the customer service is phenomenal… I have an elderly father who has a hard time deciding what he wants but Angelica was so patient and helpful with him the food was exactly what we ordered and fast…“
“Susana Excellent, friendly service. This was our first time here. We were very pleased with the value and quality. While a lot of places have raised there prices a lot Dennys seems to be trying to keep their menu affordable. Their coffee is awesome!“
“My church group & I came here on Friday 2/23/24 to celebrate my birthday & our server Shantier was exceptional. She was attentive, polite, and friendly. Our food was brought promptly and didn't have to ask for refills cos she was on it! Definitely plan on coming back!“
“First things, great customer service by Ms.Martha. She did an amazing job, helped me and my kids eat, brought our food ASAP, I’ve been to so many dennys & most waiters take forever to get my drink/food order. But Martha got the job done. Thank you so much Martha for the experience.“
“The food is always consistent and what one would expect. Service fluctuates based on the server. One lady was on point, while another asked if there was anything else we would like. Less than 1 second later, I was about to reply and she was already walking away, without even waiting for my response to her question. Additionally, they only honor senior discounts if one has an AARP card. My mom is obviously over 80 years old, way past the borderline senior status, but they would not allow for a senior discount based on their robotic rules. It would obviously and reluctantly have to reflect on their tip.“
“Highly recommended. The Denae's Slam is so good. The doctored up hash browns were great. The only negative was that the sausage was a little overcooked. The$5.00 Bloody Mary's were VERY tasty! Our server, Carla, was very pleasant and thorough. Thanks, Carla.“
“The workers are great. However they try to push you in and out. Can’t even enjoy a conversation with the fam because they check in endlessly and give you the check halfway thru the meal. But this is a dennys standard at any dennys I’ve been to.“
“Me and my family had an amazing experience. Food was amazing and the service was even better our server Brianna made sure we got our food and drinks right away . She constantly asked if we needed anything and her energy was amazing ! I will definitely be coming back .“
“An interesting cafe location inside a bowling alley, but it gives you that homey island life like you would find in Hawaii. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and test out the authenticity and I must say they are all legit. Their Misoyaki Butterfish has a nice texture, a bit of sweetness and flavor from Miso and a buttery taste. The Lau Lau (steamed pork wrapped inside Taro leaves) and Kim Chi fried rice with Portuguese sausages are savory and super flavorful to each bite. The Saimin (Hawaiian soft wheat egg noodles with char siu) is exactly how it should taste just like in Hawaii. We got a Loco Moco plate to go and it did not disappoint because the gravy has a nice texture and flavor to it. We will definitely be back in the near future to try other dishes.“
“Myraim is very nice and took our order. We were seated right away, and our food did not take long. The apple pie ala mode did it for me that is my review on the pie. I will be returning for some more pie. Mmmmmmm......pie.My son had a burger practically stacked almost to the ceiling. I am surprised he managed to eat the entire burger. I regret not taking a pic of the burger. He said it was so good he almost went into a food coma.Dietary restrictions: Has a section in the menu.Kid-friendliness: Menu and ?Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“Tonight Dennys went above&beyond...Service was super fast from start to finish...very friendly all around...great recommendation of items n my son got to eat free!!! Keep up the great work✨️Parking: They have plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free! Waitress are very friendly n patient with kids ordering.“
“I LOVE THE VIBE OF THIS PLACE -- Old Fashioned. The customer service was real good too. When we walked in, we were greeted & told to sit wherever. The waiter answered the questions we had about the menu & then recommended a few things to us. We ended up getting the 2 things that he recommended -- The International Omelette & The Three Stooges. My fiance said the bacon was cooked perfectly unlike the bacon he had at Denny's. My daughter loved the Belgian waffle & ate the whole thing. My other daughter had the kids breakfast meal & she ate everything -- eggs, bacon, pancakes. I had the omelette & it was interesting how they put the regular square cheese on top of the finished omelette instead of putting shredded cheese on the inside. There was definitely a lot of meat in that omelette. However, I couldn't finish the hash browns because it did taste a little off for me, idk if it was because it was too oily. Also, when the other waitress gave our food, we were just sitting there waiting because there weren't enough forks so we had to ask for more when she came by but I like how she apologized. Another thing I liked is how we didn't have to wait for our check & how she dropped the check off to us when she saw we were almost finished & said "no rush. whenever you're ready." It made our time there go by smoothly because when having small children, you know how they get when they're done eating & just want to play around so you want to get out of there asap lol.“
“Food tasted old, cheese cake was not fresh, but it was still very good. Got a sidecar with my shake! Heck yeah! I love that. Parking is weird and there's not much of it. Free parking, they will give you the "Get Out" after 1 hour. If you are tired or other. Many hotels dot the area it's just off the freeway. Parking is freeParking: 4 tight spots near the entrance and face the road. I expected to turn straight in, but it was more of a 90+ angleKid-friendliness: They have crayons and paper, but it lacks the excitement children often need to keep their attention!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchairs and others physical limitations. 2 parking spots within 1 or 3 yards from the concrete ramp entrance is less than 10 yards“
“I recently had the pleasure of being served by Ericka at Denny’s, and I must say, her exceptional service truly made my dining experience memorable. Ericka’s warmth and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, and her genuine enthusiasm for ensuring I had everything I needed was evident throughout my meal. Not only was she incredibly efficient, but her friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest. Ericka’s professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service are truly commendable, and I look forward to returning to Denny’s knowing that I’ll be in capable hands with her as my server. If you’re dining at Denny’s, be sure to ask for Ericka she’ll undoubtedly enhance your experience with her outstanding service.“
“Dale's Diner immerses you in the nostalgia of the 50s with its delightful decor, from the retro booths to the classic jukebox tunes. The burger I enjoyed was cooked just right, bursting with flavor and topped with fresh ingredients. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, enhancing the cozy atmosphere. While there's room for some menu innovation, it's still a pleasant spot for a satisfying meal.“
“George's 50s diner is everything a diner should be. Breakfast, burgers, fries, shakes, pies and burritos? Yes you read that right, George's not only serves all the usual diner standards, but they also serve some Mexican offerings too, like breakfast burritos and chorizo and eggs. Everything on the menu is delicious and George (the owner and chef) and Helen (front of house) make sure that everyone feels like family. On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. Don't miss the opportunity to have some great food and great service with a slice of history.“
“The food is the best in town. I tried the steak burrito and it was so damn good I literally went back for another one. The prices are very reasonable and everything tastes homemade . I've loved this restaurant forever. I will be back soon. They also do have a drive thru.“
“The food and service were good I had no complaints. There aren't that many vegetarian options except breakfast. The dining room can use a remodel. There's some imperfections on the floor and walls but it's not that big of a deal. Still find this better than the norms on “
“It has been years since I visited Bob's Big Boy. This one is one of the 4 remaining in California, and the quality is still top-notch! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location has plenty of seating and parking with a ton of nostalgic flair. I definitely will be back!“
“Don’t Order the potatoes !!! Go for the fries or hash browns. Service was great,And the food was delicious. Came in with a group of 6, and we were served very well. Waited about an hour for a table. While all the food was great, the potatoes were extremely sad, no flavor, seasoning and tasted like just boiled potato. Other than that, everything is great. Bathroom accessible.“
“The service here is so solid. The food is typical Denny's fare, so it likely won't ever be 5-star, but it's hot when served tastes fine. There's another Denny's closer to me, but this one on Bellflower is far superior in terms of service to the one on Carson.Parking: If they're busy, you may have to do a little walking, but there are plenty of spaces to park for free.Wheelchair accessibility: The front doors can be challenging to open because of air pressure created by the small ante-room, but there's plenty of space.“
“I recently came back to this establishment and was very please with the change in service and food quality. Our server Ruth was polite and provided excellent service. The food came out hot and the serving was enough to fill one up. Will definitely come back.“
“Food and service is always great. Other reviews about this place feeling like having dinner with family are true.Me and my wife love coming here. I got the menudo this time but I love the huevos ranchero or the chorizo or the chiliquilles… can’t go wrong with anything!Always love returning here“
“Love this place! have eaten there my whole life . Food is great, prices are affordable. I have never experienced any type of rude hospitality. if you were treated badly maybe that’s on you. Yes space is limited but it’s comfortable when seated.“
“My second time here and I ordered the pecan and banana pancake combo with portuguese sausage. The sausage was delicious and the pancakes were amazing. I put a little butter and syrup on the pancakes and think next time I would just use a little more butter and no syrup. The pancakes were sweet just by themselves. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Homeboy Diner, and it was a culinary journey like no other. This American food haven in Sacramento offers a menu that celebrates the flavors and diversity of American cuisine. From the juicy burgers to the perfectly cooked steaks, every dish showcased the chef's dedication to quality and taste. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, providing the ideal setting for a memorable meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. Homeboy Diner is a true standout among Sacramento's dining scene.“
“Great little local spot. They have a really good breakfast menu and basically serve everything. They have burgers, breakfast, Mexican food, a pastrami menu, and an American classic like their Tuna Melt. We've just begun to explore the menu, and so far, everything has been great. The portions are generous, the meat is good quality and fresh, and the prices are reasonable. The food does take a while to come out, but you can really tell it's well made. Even the chicken in their quesadillas taste freshly fire grilled. Definitely worth a try if in the area.“
