“Absolutely found my new favourite breakfast spot in Manhattan Beach. The menu is amazing, the staff couldn't be more welcoming and the breads are some of the best I've ever had... In fact to say the least, this may be my new go-to bakery. I live in Long Beach and it's entirely worth making the trip once a week.“

“Tried the gluten free Da Works. Note that the gluten free pizza cannot be made in the “personal” size, so I ordered a medium. Pepperoni was a little burnt at the edges, but overall not bad. Also tried the gluten free bites. They were only okay, would not get them again.“

“Usually my go to sprinkles since we don’t have one that’s closer. It’s between this one and Newport but more often Manhattan wins. We got here a little early so they weren’t quite open yet. We waited between 10-15 min for them to open. They opened on time or a couple min earlier and the girl who was working was very nice and helpful. I got a box of 6 cupcakes ( red velvet, triple cinnamon x2, chocolate marshmallow, carrot and a strawberry ) along with an order of mini red velvet cookies and a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie in a jar (not sure what they were called) but I won’t be getting the jar dessert again, it was too sweet and just too much. But everything else was good like always.“

“First time here & first time ever trying Ike’s….i gotta say guys, for what the location & food lacked, Darnell, the cashier made up for BIG TIME, what a great guy. Awesome attitude, very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu & just an overall pleasure to interact with (something AI will never be able to accomplish) the place could use better seating & the prices are…well pricey AFFF but it is a damn good sandwich for sure, but damn $4.65 for a bottle of root beer? That’s wild. Again, Darnell made it all much easier to hand over $21 for a sandwich & soda with his awesome attitude. I would most definitely promote the young man asap as from what I’ve seen, he’s very, very capable & deserving of it ?? keep it up young man, with that attitude & drive, you’ll go far in life bud ?? ….Also the young man & woman working with Darnell were also great…very polite, helpful & great attitudes. The 4 of us had a great, brief conversation about the strange quarter I found in my pocket (American Samoa) ….. anyway, the 3 of them make a great team & should definitely be cultivated to be moved up within the company ??“
