“Truly authentic Greek. Portions generous. Price surprisingly reasonable. Feels like a real honest place.
Shd book in advance. They looked real busy the Sunday we went for lunch. Still, the service was good, our Peruvian host Kiara never missed a beat, or gentle smile.
Sunday is our preferred day to come when we are missing Greek cuisine, vis there’s the Mar Vista farmers market to enjoy too just 60 yards across road.“

“Great food. The lamb is amazing. So assuming in this small plaza. I usually go here and the X-Press dry cleaners next door once a week. It’s my Thursday routine. Pickup dinner and cleaning. The owner is really cool and the workers are chill.“

“Chris gave outstanding service at Nick the Greek. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. He took the time to explain the menu, checked in at the right moments, and kept a great attitude the whole time. The food came out fast and fresh, and the overall experience felt welcoming and professional. Definitely coming back—Chris really made the visit worth it.“

“We came on a Wed morning and were overjoyed to find this family owned cafe that has survived 60 years I think the owner shared. The omlets were not only yummy but beautifully displayed with like a half of an avocado on each! There is so much love poured into that room! You can see the generations on the wall. I hope it stays alive another 60 years! Thanks Mike..I think we did see that church you got married in up on the hill on our way into Santa Barabara!“
“Food was pretty good. Daphne's has a policy of being stingy on some items, even when they sell specific meals that should be better curated. For instance, you only get to have a small amount of bread and only one sauce in a group meal for four people. I wont return mainly for that reason.
This location seems to be going for the ambiance of a hole in the wall 90s Greek restaurant. It's probably more authentic, but it's just so funny when the prior location I went to was set up very modern. They don't have a light up sign out front and their menus are on 24 inch monitors like 10 feet off the ground.“
