“I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. Hopefully he is working there the next time I go, so that I can get his name and thank him for his incredible service. Salt and Straw, you found a good one.“

“Manhattan Beach. YOU SHOULD GET 3 SCOOPS BUT 2 IS OK. 1 scoop was $6.25 and 2 was $6.75. 3 was $7 something. If you like toppings, the banana split is the way to go for $10.25. There were some seats outside, but this place was more like a take out place. Walk the beach and go to the promenade. The museum wasn't interesting.

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. “Amazing ice creams!!!

I was walking by after dinner and saw some people who were eating ice creams and feel like it is what I need right now, I looked for ice cream shops nearby and found Jeni’s. It was a really good ice cream shop. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I got one scoop of Strawberry Pretzel Pie and one scoop of Texas Sheet Cake. Both were absolutely delicious but I like strawberry more - the second one was a little bit sugary for me. The flavor in both was rich and creamy, and it felt very fresh, so it tasted really good. I really enjoyed it.

I ordered ice cream in a waffle cone, and the portion was pretty generous, bigger than I expected. The waffle was pretty good, not dry but crispy. The prices are reasonable for that amount of ice cream.

The place itself is nice inside, looks like regular ice cream spot. There are no tables inside but you can find some on the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, she told me about different flavors and let me sample.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The ice cream is amazing, I really enjoyed it, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors.“

I highly recommend the ice cream shop in The Point business district.
1. Made from plant milk, it is healthier and has lower calories.
2. There are many kinds of flavors. I asked the clerk to introduce them. The store clerk took the trouble to let me try the food, which was a great experience.
Finally, the ice cream itself was very delicious.
I like the more sour flavor, and the other one is pistachio.
