“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.“

“So I’ll start this by saying that I’ve eaten a lot of gyros in my life. I like gyros. So when I saw there was a spot near me serving gyros, it really excited me and filled a craving that I had for awhile.
I got two lamb gyros with feta cheese and extra tomato/onions. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh from an extremely nice couple. They got my food to me quick and I devoured both. Honestly I could’ve just done one with how big they were.

“I accidentally ordered a chicken soup from a different chicken Maison (pacific coast highway) instead of the one on Torrance Blvd. When I arrived the young lady told me I ordered from the wrong place. i was going to just order another one there and pay. However, the girl working behind the counter was so incredibly nice! She said she would call the other restaurant to cancel that order and would prepare my soup for there. It was my

“Me and my friends went to Calabra for sunset and had the best experience. Our server, Danil, was amazing. He went above and beyond, especially when one of us asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and we loved the seafood tower. Overall, the service from the entire staff was excellent. Other servers checked in on us, cleared plates promptly, and brought the bill without delay. Danil’s attention and friendliness truly made our visit extra special. 🤩“

“Gladys is a gem. Friendly, welcoming, sweet. She took my order and as always efficient. When I went in to pick up my meal, which has been a very regular occurrence, she was on a break. I asked the young lady taking my money to thrown in some pickled as I always do. She was staring at the register and after a time I asked if I could swipe my card. She explained that the pickles had charged when only with a bowl. I mentioned that it’s never been mentioned and said she would speak to Gladys about that. That is NOT what you tell a customer when you can’t figure out how to enter it and make them wait. I asked to speak with a manager and she proudly announced that she was one of the ones in charge. She proceeded to further explain about the charge, but she would give me one this time. It’s not the money, but a friendly welcome with a smile would have been preferred. Every other employee is fabulous, but I suggest that this person gets advised on customer service. There are other establishments with food and for that matter other Zankou’s.
