Sinecure Wine LLC Winery •
3344 Paul Davis Dr #2, Marina

“Wonderful boutique Marina winery. Great wines made in Marina and at reasonable prices. Sinecure hosts a monthly community wine tasting event featuring their wines plus one to three additional boutique local wineries. The Urban Wine Row event is the afternoon of the first Saturday of each month, except during the harvest season. Taste and discuss the wines with the wine makers. A great social event!“

“Came in on a Sunday and was so excited to have the wine maker pouring! The tasting consisted of five Portuguese style varieties that were incredible! The atmosphere is cool too- fire pits outside and great music inside. Highly recommend for a visit!“

KORi Wines Winery •
Mission Street &, 7th Ave, Carmel-By-The-Sea - 11.16 miles

“My wife and I were recently in the area, and stopped by to check this place out. It was close to closing time, but they still served us. There was only one person working there, and overall it was a short but sweet experience. We went home with the Rosé which was pretty yummy! If we are ever in the area, I would totally swing by again.“

“Was recommended to stop by here by another tasting room, Talbott Vineyards, when they didn't have any Bordeaux-style blends. The wines here were fabulous, I personally really enjoyed both the Petite Sirah and their late harvest riesling. My wife enjoyed the whites and dessert wine as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We look forward to trying their restaurant recommendations.“

“Dawns Dream was, well, a dream. Friendly service, beautiful indoor and outdoor space, dog friendly, and great wines. We did a flight for $30 and the bartender let us try a 5th wine for free. Wished we could've taken some wine home... will definitely be visiting when I return!“

Shale Canyon Wines Wine Bar • $$
416 San Carlos St, Carmel-By-The-Sea - 11.18 miles

“I went here with my partner yesterday and we were served by Janice, one of the most bubbly and kind people we’ve met in hospitality in a long time! She told us stories about the town, about people she has met and some folklore. She also took a lot of time to hear what we wanted out of our wine tasting experience. She told us all about the wine and where it came from and how it was inspired. As someone who prefers white wine, their reds were really good and sat really well with me. Loved the whole experience and we will definitely be back the next time we visit!“

Manzoni Cellars Winery • $$
#4 Hampton Court on 7th ave between San Carlos and, Dolores St, Carmel-By-The-Sea - 11.22 miles

“This was the last Carmel winery we stopped by on our first day trip to the area. So glad we came in as this was by far our favorite of the 3.We are mainly red wine drinkers so we tried the Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Bordeaux Blend. All 3 were very good. We were very pleasantly surpised by the Pinot and Zinfandel as these 2 wines don't usually hit our palates. Manzoni's were very smooth and drinkable, with lots of sweet fruit and silky tannins. We found it hard to choose between the Bordeaux Blend and the Zinfandel but ended up going home with a bottle of the Zin.The woman that took care of us was very friendly and even gave us a sight-seeing tip of driving down Ocean Avenue and making a left to look at the spectacular views of the ocean and all the insane ocean-front homes in the area. Very cool.“

Comanche Cellars Winery • $$
412 Alvarado St, Monterey - 7.78 miles

“Giving this little wine bar 4 stars for the great vibes! We walked in on a Wednesday, which happened to be bingo night (with some hilarious puns interspersed in between). There were two tasting flight options available, both priced at $20 for 5 wines. Our standouts were the 2020 Dog & Pony Trousseau and 2020 Dog & Pony Il Rinnegato. IMO this wine bar is unique, carrying some lesser seen single grape varietals like carignane and negrette. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!“

Albatross Ridge Winery & Kitchen Winery • $$
316 Alvarado St, Monterey - 7.71 miles

“I visited this establishment during my weekly sojourn to the Monterey Farmers Marketplace...I walked in to this beautifully designed tasting room with white quartz counter tops...the gentleman who was pouring the wine was quite knowledgeable and friendly...the wine was incredible especially the pinot noir...I joined the wine club on the spot...over the weekend...I headed to their Carmel Valley tasting room with a friend.. again...incredible hospitality was extended to us by Lyle...and the same incredible wine was enjoyed...they have several other wines to choose from...but I save myself for the several pinots from different years. What a truly memorable experience...p.s. I understand that they also have a tasting room in Carmel by the Sea...so there is no excuse not to visit...in vino veritas!“

Caraccioli Cellars Wineries • $$
7393 Dolores St, Carmel-By-The-Sea - 11.18 miles

“Probably one of the prettiest wine rooms we have in Carmel. Wonderful brut and great reds. Everything in Carmel is definitely smaller on scale and this family really knows how to bring in elegance in a great space. Highly recommend to all true wine fans. Ashley is super sweet at the bar and the family owned love here is warmly appreciated.“

Silvestri Vineyards Winery • $$
7th between San Carlos and, Dolores St, Carmel-By-The-Sea - 11.21 miles

“Wonderful wine and a small tasting room "off the beaten path." The owner is a composer and has written music for countless Hollywood blockbuster movies. The atmosphere of the tasting room is weird though because they play his music. It's good, but super weird to be listening the Superhero epic music while tasting wine. The girl who helped me was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The music would be SUPER fun to play as a "name that tune" game, but odd to just be playing in the background. They also show you a written biography... that doesn't include how he got into the wine making business; which is funny. I'd still go back, but definitely odd.“
