“beautiful property, excellent wine!“
“The most beautiful view along with a large size vineyard.
The host Mr. Bargetto was very knowledgeable for every question I had about wine 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍷🍷🍷🍷
I truly enjoyed their wines, atmosphere and sublime scenery when I taste their wine in a beautiful gazebo.👏🏼👏🏼🍇🍇🍇🍷🍷🍷“
“Always a wonderful time when we hang out at El Vaquero.“
“Great space! The owners are amazing, very welcoming, and the wine is amazing!“
“Discovered this amazing place with my Wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains passport and couldn’t be more thankful. Hands down the best Santa Cruz Mountains vineyard I have been to yet. The hospitality was amazing (our server was Rachel)! We did the Largo flight and the wines were so good that I walked away with a bottle of the cab 🍷 I also recommended their charcuterie, it had a lot of verity in the packaging and was served with a side of crackers. For sure will be back soon!“
“Beautiful location with great views!“
“Awesome space to spend time in vacations. Highly Recommended Place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I clicked that I don’t recommend the winery but it changed to I do. Loma Prieta used to be my favorite winery. The ambiance was great & everyone was so friendly. I would leave with 1-2 cases each visit. The last couple times I did wine club pickups I was so disappointed. The winery is run totally different! It is not the fun place it used to be. I’m considering cancelling both my wine clubs memberships there.“
“We enjoyed a perfect Mother’s Day picnic brunch at Fernwood Cellars yesterday. This serene, beautiful place is only 38 minutes from our home in San Jose but feels like you are a whole different world. We were seated in the lookout surrounded by a grove of redwoods overlooking the stream where we enjoyed delicious wines served by John and Liz. They were kind and welcoming and so knowledgeable about the property and the wines. Thank you Fernwood Cellars for a lovely day!!“
“I was greeted in the parking lot by both one of the owners and his sweet dog who promptly flopped over for a Belly scratch, and Brandon, with a large glass of Pinot Grigio, was close behind. I was ushered inside the breezy laid back tasting room and Brandon was quick to strike up a conversation, take me on a short personal tour and show me Monterey Bay from the hilltop. What a delightful afternoon adventure. I only tried one other wine, a Pinot Noir, which is what they are famous for, but both were perfect. Even though I arrived alone and am inexperienced in wine tasting, I was made to feel welcome and at home. The setting is beautiful and the wines were perfect, I would definitely come here again and this time bring friends.
If you have time, I also recommend going for a walk at Land of Medicine Buddha which is about 15 minutes away before your visit to the winery, I think the peaceful walk enhanced my wine tasting experience!“
“This past weekend, we decided to visit Lester Estate Wines. The property is beautiful, with spaces for events and parties. Following the signs to the tasting room, you enter and see a long room decorated with all kinds of different woodsy/nature themed items. The staff greeted us and led us to a nice outdoor seating area. I tried the new Pinot Noir reds and she tried a mix of sparkling and still whites. Overall, it was a pleasant time and there is plenty to see! Another good wine tasting experience in the mountains north of Aptos!“
“Hidden gem in Morgan Hill. My family and I have been here over 5 times by now. This is always our last stop when wine tasting in the area because we know what to expect and it's always good. Tastings are always free (you read that right) and consist of about 6 wines. They are very red heavy but make a variety of it. Wines are always high quality, bold, mostly fruit forward. Wines are expensive to purchase though at about $100+ a bottle, but membership is free and cuts it to half price
It's family owned. Very nice owners and staff. Basically all seat yourself outdoor seating aside from the bar area which is like an open garage with maybe 1 long table. There is only 1 restroom so plan ahead. They provide water bottles. They don't have food, but allow outside food.
Keep in mind that as of now they are only open 1 full weekend (3rd weekend) each month“
“This is a great family owned winery. The owners are very kind and make you feel like part of the family. And the Rose is killer! The grounds are beautiful, with a great music series this summer. This is a strong recommend. Come by and check them out.“
“service was great, winery was beautiful👌🏽“
“The staff are so welcoming and very knowledgeable. The site is gorgeous. Lots of fabulous events throughout the year. And of course, fantastic wine! Several different varieties - all delicious. The owners have a devoted passion for the winery and members and visitors. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I have ever DJed. Marky and her staff were exceptional. Very well kept grounds. Top notch venue!!“
“Good wine, beautiful scenery and a very nice owner and staff“
“Had a great time at Martin Ranch Winery. Dan gave us a Barrel Room tasting and educational experience. Cindy and Steve were also very friendly and kind.
Thank you for having us at your beautiful winery and sharing your wonderful wine!“
“Great family gathering spot as well as great wine & friendly staff 🤗🍷“
“I recently photographed a wedding at Regale Winery and I must say I’m wowed by my experience there! The staff were all incredibly kind, thorough and communicate which is a huge plus for making sure the day runs smooth. From a photography standpoint, the whole venue was beautiful - tons of little corners and backdrops that made for great photo ops. In April, the flowers were in full bloom and overall the decor, architecture & landscaping gave a romantic “Tuscan villa” vibe.
Another plus is that both the bride and groom had spacious and photogenic areas for their getting ready space. This is actually really hard to come by in my experience but makes a big difference! The groom got ready in the Barrel / Tasting Room (where later the open dancing was held), and the bride had a huge bridal suite with multiple bathrooms and a view overlooking the venue grounds. The bride had fun peeking through the windows down at her guests arriving before the ceremony.
Overall, I loved not only the look of this venue but also my experience working there! Would definitely love to work there again soon.
I’ll link below the vendors Instagram’s who helped make this beautiful day happen.

“I visited this winery recently. I was going to do some wine tasting but opted for a glass of their res blend "Devotion" suggested by a very nice and helpful server. We toured the winery. Quite large area for events. Was also picturesque. Wine was also delicious. I love red blends so I was delighted. My friend loved one of their Pinot Noirs. Very reasonably priced. Will be back.“

“A stunning estate with warm, knowledgeable staff, and truly exceptional wines. As a wine nerd, I love their wine club for value and quality, especially their Pinot Noir. Their wines really highlight the distinctive character of the Santa Cruz AVA. Don’t walk, run to Windy Oaks as soon as possible.“
