“Cute tasting room in downtown Mohi. We walked in Saturday around 5:30pm. $20 tasting fee (5 wines) but waived with purchase of 2 bottles per fee. We liked the Pinot Noir 2021 so we bought 1 bottle and the Pinot Noir 2018 to compare. They sell charcuterie boxes for $20 here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking. Pours were ok amount. It closes at 6pm, but people still asked for a glass at closing time. The lady was like ok but only if you take it like a shot haha. Our pourer Danielle was really nice. We got to revisit if we wanted to.“

“Incredibly welcoming family vineyard w/ a rich local history and delicious, reasonably priced wines. They had a great variety of sparkling, roses and reds. Highlights were sparkling rose $16 and the estate reserve cab $50. The tasting staff and one of the third generation owners, Gene were so welcoming and kind. Brought the whole family, including young kids (could've also brought pups as they are dog friendly and had a water bowl out) without a reservation around noon on Saturday. We brought our own charcuterie and set up shop by the outdoor fountain/sitting area. It was a wonderful day out for everyone and we were lucky enough to stumble along a bottle your own wine event where many folks were bringing their own bottle from home to fill with their red blend for $14 per standard 750ml size. We recycled a bottle we finished onsite after the $15 tasting and think it was quite a deal! So glad to have found this gem in the area, so rich with history. We're also told they have free concerts in their outdoor spacious theater area during the summer so can't wait to check that out, they have regular events posted on their website and are very responsive on the phone to reservation inquiries.“
“Great wines! The Cabernet, Petite Syrah, and Zinfandel were outstanding. We've been to larger vineyards where the wines were not as good. We had a wonderful afternoon listening to great music. The owners were warm and welcoming to everyone who was there. The grounds were beautiful with chickens that were entertaining. It was a perfect afternoon. Can't wait to visit again.“
“If you want to go to a winery that has the old school field of 1970s, Napa Valley where you can still get a free tasting and taste the most exceptional wines in California. This is the place the Ventor does micro fermentation and pays attention to the most Finest details in production. Small vintage lots are used. With no more than 1500 cases a year produced. Any wine you taste there will be exceptional. I highly recommend this place when they are open only one weekend a month.“
“We selected Mohi Wine for our wedding on October 27, 2023. Best decision we could've possibly made! Everything was impeccable and we received so many compliments from our guests on the decor (by Savannah at Deluxe Design Decor), food, staff, and ambiance. It was literally a DREAM WEDDING!! I cannot thank our coordinator CHRISTINA enough!! When I say she went above and beyond throughout the entire process, I truly mean it! And the decor by Savannah was absolutely perfect!! “My husband and I visited Castillo's hillside winery to look at the grounds for family photos. We met Vivian and did a tasting. We enjoyed our tasting talking with Vivian, she is very knowledgeable, outgoing, funny and has a beautiful voice. She played her guitar and sang one of her original songs which was amazing. After viewing the property, meeting Vivian, and communicating back-and-forth with Roni Jo, we new we wanted to booked the family photo session that castillo's Hillside Winery. We just had the photos taken Saturday, October 21, 2023. We can't wait to seeing the photos taken on their beautiful grounds and we plan to go back doing a tasting.
