“Great wines, and a great atmosphere! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a great time trying the variety of wine from the area. We took our kids with us a couple times as well in the summer, and they have a nice outdoor seating area, as well as comfy couches and seating inside. There was often a food truck there on the weekends, so it was a great spot for a relaxing wine tasting trip and good food along with it.“

“Free wine tasting, up to 5 wines per day. Most have won awards, decent prices ranging from $30-45/bottle. They also have other more expensive wines for sale. Our bartender let us sample a $75/bottle wine that was opened per customer request for testing for free. Great experience. They run specials, but you need to ask about them. There are absolutely fantastic homemade pastries for sampling with the wine (also free).Place is a little out of the way in a side road behind other businesses. Not in the redwoods directly, or on the beach or obviously in a vineyard. But still a great experience and I would go back.“

“Armitage wines offers a truly outstanding experience. It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. “Pizza not so much ran out of pretzels. The owner Phil and the wine maker Igor, busted a groove taking care of the crowd. Music by Untangled band was great. Great setting in the redwoods with the vines in front. The wines are very good to excellent. $$$ 30 to 65 depends on your taste. Got tickets at the artichoke festival. Very nice afternoon indeed.“

“Beautiful nested in the forest of Bonny Doon, Beauregard is a unique wine tasting experience. There’s not many places where you will be able to hear first hand about the historic vines and about the family wine making experience first hand from the owner himself. Great and unique wines and awesome vibes!“

“I purchased a bottle of 2017 Sangiovese wine. It was excellent. I went back and purchased four additional bottles. Only one bottle purchased was of the caliber of my first purchase.We were wine club members for several years and cancelled our membership when 40% of the bottles purchased did not mirror what we tasted at the venue. Overall, if you want a cool place to hang or love big bold cabs, this is the place for you. Buyer beware.“

“Fantastic place to have a tasty glass of wine or to enjoy a flight of five different wines. Bargetto offers three different flights, although their bottle purchase selection exceeds that. My favorite for the day was a reserve Pinot and a reserve Cab. They have a large patio overlooking the Soquel Creek which is my favorite place to sit (well, not when it's raining). Lastly, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you will leave feeling like you made some new friends. 5/5!“

“Decided to stop by Wrights Station for a local getaway! Definitely a good spot to visit on the way to or from Santa Cruz.The two of us ordered 2 mixed tasters, and an empanada. Pricing was reasonable and staff was friendly. There is seating inside and outside.We were there during a Saturday afternoon, so it was relatively quiet, with only a few groups. Bocce ball available as well.Parking is available onsite as well.Shoutout Katie for being extremely friendly and courteous :)“

“We popped in here for our wine tasting and it was one of the best wine experiences we’ve ever had. The pourer, T, was super friendly and kind and made our experience that much more special. The wines were incredible as well. You can tell a lot of heart and soul goes into this place. If we were local we would’ve definitely walked away with several bottles, especially the Chardonnay port“

“My bookclub was having its first meeting and after reading reviews and looking at the pictures this seemed like the coziest spot to delve into literature. I called a week earlier to reserve a table for 8 and was quickly accommodated. Not to mention whoever answered and took my reservation was kind, friendly and had great phone etiquette. When I walked in our reservation was clearly marked and the woman pouring wine and acting as hostess was amazing. She was quick to get our tastings together and made sure to ask if we needed anything and was just so pleasant all around. We all mentioned how we wished we new about this soot sooner. Wine was nice and I ended up buying 2 bottles. Looking forward to my next visit.“
