“I hadn’t tried sweetgreen until this one just opened up in Sac. I went in thinking I was going to be served an overpriced, unsatisfyingly small “slop bowl.” After trying it, I was completely wrong.

The bowl I got, the Chicken Cauli Plate with a few custom toppings, was delicious. And the portion size was way bigger than I expected. I live only a few blocks away, and I honestly kind of hate how much I enjoyed the food there. I’ll definitely be coming back way too much I can already tell.

The most unexpected thing about my visit was seeing the huge, automatic bowl maker conveyor belt thing that makes most of your bowl/salad. Wasn’t expecting that, and I thought it was real neat.

I still think it’s a little pricey, but other than that, I’ll be stopping by pretty regularly now I think.

It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. Each order is made fresh when the customer comes in, not like other sandwich shop where they make the sandwich as soon as it’s called in. There’s a big difference of a sandwich made fresh and a sandwich that sits for awhile. The employee has a great attitude, the owner came in and he was polite and easy to talk to.

I went in for a birthday lunch and everyone there made it awesome. christian at the host stand was nice and got me seated quick, even going out of his way to ask the manager jaime a few questions for me before I sat down. On my way out, a manager, Jaime, and another server, Cena, were there and they checked in just to make sure everything went well, which was cool and not something every place does.
