“Wow! If I lived closer to this place my wallet would be in trouble. We were nearby at the Sac Children's Museum and stumbled across this place when looking through restaurant reviews and were so happy we did. If you are trying to decide where to eat in the area, stop and head over. Highly recommend due to the amazing food (we had the Potato Bolani, Lamb Kebab and Chicken Kebab), warm service, free tea while we waited and huge portions. Can't wait to go back.
Kid-friendliness: They had multiple high chairs and were very kind to my 2 year old -- even giving him a free lassi because it was his bday.“

“I can't say enough good things about this place! The staff is exceptionally kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. And the pesto chicken sandwich? It’s honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! The toasted yet soft sourdough paired with flavorful pesto and a generous portion of chicken is just perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend it—10/10! You won’t regret a visit here!“

“I love fried mushrooms and these are the best I’ve had in years. We got the fried okra as well and would come back for that. The Buddha bowl is huge! The chicken fried steak burger is really well done. In short we ordered too much, but no regrets!“

“New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“

“Attentive service, excellent food, would definitely return. Ordered the Tom kha soup (medium) and it had a deep and complex flavor. We then had the panang curry chicken (hot) and it certainly lived up to the spice and the hype, very impressed with the flavor. Total with Thai ice tea and rice came to $40 with tax and tip.“

“This is the best restaurant in Gold River and one of the best in Sacramento, hands down. True hidden gem. My family has been going for years and we look forward to many lunches and dinners to come. Food is amazingly prepared and always fresh, great portions and quality- each plate could be $10 more expensive and I’d still happily pay. Don’t tell the owner. We love the atmosphere, great indoor and outdoor dining and always amazing service. If you don’t know about Z California Cuisine I feel bad for you! Only place I recommend anyone to try with full confidence they’ll have a great experience.“

“Our office really enjoyed our salads. We tried the Smoked Chicken Caesar and the Smoked Cremini Mushroom (Vegan) and both were excellent! This cafe is tucked away in an office park but it was easy to get to and pick up was fast.“

“I can't believe this place has been opened for a year and I am just now trying it. In 3 days, my wife and I have had the BLT, Chipotle Turkey Club, Gyro wrap, and Falafel wrap. Bread and Falafels are made in-house by the owner, Ramzi. Super nice guy. This is notched on as one of my favorite places already.“

“We were so excited to hear about a new pizza spot and couldn't wait to try it! Probably the best decision of my entire life- no, I'm not exaggerating. We were 6 people so this was a perfect amount of food for us. Every single person around the table was VERY impressed. The staff is very nice. Great vision for patrons to enjoy. “The food, drinks, service and ambience are amazing! We celebrated my Mom’s birthday there and the staff was on it! We brought a cake for her and the staff cut and served it for us! Really nice of them! The restaurant is decorated very nicely! Drinks were amazing as well! Give them a try…you won’t be disappointed! 👏🏻😊“

“My mother and I went in on a last minute thing and we both had probably the best sandwich we’d ever had. Mine was absolutely amazing. The owner and staff were so pleasant and kept the place very clean, which is very important considering what we’re having to live through. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE. 😢“

“My favorite beach hut without a doubt. My work schedule usually leaves me just minutes before they close. and they're always extremely nice and polite, never give me any grief for being last minute, and sometimes even bring the sandwich out to my truck and lock the front door behind them. Also, it's hard to beat the $1 day old bread.“
