“A Sacramento gem! It's always a treat to dine at Frank Fat's. My sister was visiting from out of town and requested Chinese food for dinner. We had to come here, of course, and it was delicious and wonderful as usual. We shared the appetizer combo platter with Yu Kwok, salt and pepper chicken, potstickers and spring rolls. She was impressed as soon as those arrived, and dinner got better and better with each course. We had Singapore curry chicken, honey walnut prawns and the famous green beans along with brown and white rice for dinner. Banana cream pie - the best in the whole world - rounded out our meal.“

“Sunflower Drive-In has not changed in many years. I came here prior to becoming vegan and thought it was good, now I think it's out of this world. Just had a Nutty taco, plenty of food especially with a side order of refried beans. But unlike most food establishments they give you an option of either vegan cheese or avocado on everything. So this is a must visit Drive-In for a very good vegan meal.“

“I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly man who offered suggestions on the menu. He pleasantly asked if we were happy with our food. The food is AMAZING. I got a gyro wrap, my husband got a gyro platter. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. My husband eats more food then you could imagine and it made him stuffed while not sacrificing quality or flavor. The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We got two baklavas and I cannot even explain how good they are.“

“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“Our group of eight was searching for a sit-down Mexican restaurant with an open kitchen after 9 PM and found Jalapeños. We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great time, and I’d consider returning to explore more of the menu.“

Can get a little crowded and cramp a bit but still a pleasant experience, staff were all great, food is good, and would try again. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. “For me, the yard house is a quick easy date night option for me and my lovely wife. There is ample seating so generally I have experienced short wait times. That said, it's never a bad idea to put a reservation in. The staff has been friendly from my experience. It's not a good place to go if you want a quiet evening, however It's a great place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and the ability to watch some sporting events. They have a large drink menu if that's your thing. I'm pretty simple in terms of my food tastes so I haven't tried any of the fancier plates. I am a burger and fries kind of guy and I have been pleased with what I have ordered.

Kid-friendliness: I would take my kids here. I have little ones so it's actually a great place because they can be loud and it isn't a problem due to the bustling nature of the restaurant.“
