First time here and it's amazing! They have everything from cookies to pastries to cakes to sandwiches! Check out the photos with prices!

Coffees great, majority of the staff are friendly and helpful and ordering was smooth! Definitely going back next time we're here! Salami sandwich with Pesto spread was super good! They even use iced coffee cubes so your coffee doesn't get watered down! Very smart idea!

“I choose to go to this spot because they serve 20 oz red eyes with four shots. I get burnt out by caffeine-sensitive baristas who make comments about red eyes and inadvertently flash implicit bias and character judgements on people for having a high caffeine tolerance. I go to school and work, and I don’t want to feel like a drug addict every time I order something off your menu. I went in today for a red eye and one of the baristas was confused and concerned about other staff historically making the normal four shot 20 oz red eyes, thinking that 2 shots was more than enough. There are plenty of drinks on the menu for caffeine sensitive people, please for the love of god leave red eyes alone and keep them at 4 shots. If I have to pay extra to add 2 shots to a 20 oz red eye just to reach the normal 4 I’ll just go to Dutch Bro’s exclusively. I like north town coffee, there are a lot of awesome things about this place, but I also don’t want to pay +$7 for a drink that should have the same kick as a $4 drink, and as I mentioned above I don’t want to feel like a drug addict by the staff every time I order something off your menu.“

Great food, great people, a simple atmosphere, oh, and really fair prices.

“This hide gem is a perfect taqueria. They have indoor sitting. They are one of the better places to get Mexican style food in arcata. Fresh ingredients and the salsa is house made which is as a plus super tasty! Staff is friendly and quick service. 100% worth trying! Beers are cheap however they have a small selection!“

“This has been my favorite place for amazing Mexican Food since they opened. I've always felt like family there. Even when I was homeless they treated me with love and respect. I can't count the number of times I've accidentally showed up right after closing and instead of telling me they were closed I was invited in with my family to have dinner with their family. “Went here last second and by looking at the menu quickly. The food definitely catches your eye. We were definitely surprised by how trendy the restaurant looked inside. It has an upscale club vibe with a beautiful bar that changes colors. We were quickly seated. Our waitress was friendly and knew the menu pretty well. I chose the filet mignon and was happy with the steak. It was tender and well seasoned. The vegetables weren't as good. Lastly, drinks were amazing. Gotta give it to the bartender, the crafted drinks were on point. Thanks!“

“What a great sushi place! So glad we stumbled upon this out of the way super tasty off the beaten path sushi place in Arcata. It’s a mom n pop shop atmosphere but the food is fine dining style. We both got a roll with salmon in it, can’t remember the names but they were both delicious. The Miso soup, tempura veggies and edamame are all bomb too. Made a mistake of ordering three sakis, they came in a nice size bottle with more than enough for the three of us. Portions are generous and the food is fresh. Got the seaweed salad this trip and it was great, nice roasted sesame flavor. This is now our favorite place to get sushi in Arcata“

“I have had the chicken Pho a couple of times, it is always flavorful and delicious. Just the right amount of flavor and spice and with plenty of meat. Not too salty so you can add if you like. There are 4 kinds of noodles you can choose from. The large bowl is huge and they have an extra condiment tray that has crunchy chili and ground peanuts. Awesome!“

“APD has probably the best pizza in the Arcata/Eureka area, but check your pizza. I come and get a pizza here probably twice a month. I always order the same thing, half just cheese, half pepperoni and jalapeño, and more than half the time it comes out half pepperoni, half jalapeño. Then I have to wait for them to remake it. Not sure why that happens so often. But great pizza. Just be sure to check it.“
