Madrona Bakery is a great little neighborhood bakery in Mill Valley with a cozy, mountain town charm and a super cute vibe inside. The pastries are super fresh, delicious, flaky, soft, and well-made. Their croissants are very very good, with perfect rings, and the way they laminate them makes the pastries extra crispy and fun to eat. Specific favorites include the amazing cheddar biscuit with caramelized onions, the best-ever maple blueberry muffin, the ham and cheese croissant with gruyere and smoked ham, the kouign amann, and the pain au chocolat. The bread is also excellent, with fantastic challah bread available on Fridays, though it sells out fast. They also offer sandwiches later in the morning, like the ham & butter on baguette. For drinks, the London Fog is perfectly balanced and the fiori latte is insane. The whole store smells like delicious bread. Service is fast and efficient with very nice workers. It can get crowded but there is free wifi and a good amount of seating, making it a great place to work. It is a must visit for a delicious pastry or a morning stop.
