Started with the spring rolls and vada bao, both really solid. The spring rolls were crisp, not greasy, and the vada bao had good spice balance without being overwhelming. For mains I got the manchurian sizzler, and...read full review

Asian Bowl is a restaurant known for its tasty Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine, which can also be described as American-Indo-Asian. A must-try is the Gobi Manchurian Sizzler, and the Jain Sizzler is a fantastic almost-vegan option with tofu. The Thai Sizzler comes on a sizzling hot plate with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy Thai curry and crispy, tender cauliflower. The Tofu Khou Suey is a creamy Burmese coconut curry noodle soup with a tangy kick. The food is fresh, well-prepared, and not greasy at all, with a perfect spice level. The owners are super friendly and really care. The restaurant is fully vegetarian, and all dishes can be made vegan. Customers appreciate the quick service, the nice simple ambiance with comfortable indoor and lovely outdoor seating, and the great variety of options. It is considered some of the best Indo-Chinese food in the Bay Area and a must-try place for vegetarians and vegans.
