Terrible service, very rude and unfriendly. Not polite at all and will only speak Tagalog. English speakers definitely have no chance

Max's Restaurant in Milpitas offers a taste of the Philippines with improved food quality. While some dishes like kare kare might not impress everyone, the service is fast and servers are friendly. The menu includes light and crispy chicken, well-flavored garlic rice, and unique lumpia presentation. The restaurant also serves popular Filipino favorites like halo halo and dishes such as crispy pata, lechon sisig, and tofu sisig, which are enjoyed hot and often served family-style for sharing. The crispy pata is large and satisfying, perfect for sharing, while the lechon sisig has a creamy, addicting sauce that pairs well with peppers and onions. The tofu sisig offers a tasty vegetarian option that even meat lovers enjoy. The atmosphere is lively, with some noise from conversations and a few large groups celebrating special occasions. Prices are reasonable, around $184 for a meal, and the place is easy to find near the freeway. Although some staff may have limited allergy knowledge, the friendly service and flavorful dishes make Max's Restaurant a popular spot for Filipino food in Milpitas.
