“Fabulous place to stay. On the river with a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of day beds and lounging areas. Really good restaurant and bar. We listened to live music and had a great time. Very relaxing. We go every summer. Can't wait until next year“

This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. When you walk in, it's pretty impressive to see how beautiful the entire place is and just the overall ambience is very welcoming and warm. The food was great. We loved the menu and our server was excellent. We will for sure visit more frequently. “

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

From the early planning conversations with Patty, to her family's kindness and accommodation on what turned out to be a rainy day (Patty and Alicia put out prayers to the rain gods that it would stop for us!), to the INCREDIBLE food AND service, we fell in love with the Ginochio family. Patty and her family were so gracious with our party, as they are with the local community (if you know, you know!). Everyone in our party RAVED about the food and the service. We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back during future Bodega trips to experience the regular menu. Thank you again!!“

“We love this place! The food is ALWAYS good; the service is always good, and we love that there is always a good band playing and we get to dance! Our first waiter was Ben and oh how we loved him so we always asked for him when we would go in. Sadly, Ben moved out of the area but then we got Danny! Another fantastic server and now we always ask for her! Can't vouch for the other servers but my guess would be that they are all good! Susie is the owner, and she is wonderful! She always mingles with her guests and even gets many of them up dancing! I hope she knows how much her regulars appreciate her! I'm so glad we found this place because we do not live out there. We live in Santa Rosa, and I must say it is always worth the trip out there for a great evening!“
