“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)“

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“My friends and I recieved great service! The grilled eel bowl is great, buttery eel with japanese pepper and rice. I had a katsu special with chicken breast, egg and onion broth. So flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked. My friend had the best chicken teriyaki bowl ever. Overall, I love this restaurant! This will definitely become a staple for me.“

“Classic Taiwanese food. They hit me with the Mandarin the minute I stepped inside and I was totally unprepared for that to happen but it was chill.

Service is very fast. The price is not super cheap but it is reasonable. We got 麻辣豆乾 (spicy bean curd), 香腸 (Sinbala sausage), 炸排骨乾麵 (fried pork chop dry noodles), and 扣肉飯 (pork belly rice). The portions are pretty large. The pork chop was dry but crispy, so I have mixed feelings about that one.

They take card if you order more than $30 worth of food. I’d love to come back to try their shaved ice because I hear it’s better than Meet Fresh!“

“Italian ice was colorful and refreshing with just the right amount of soft serve to ice ratio. Just when I was running out of soft serve I found more at the bottom lolSundae was perfect amount of chocolate and whipped cream. Banana milkshake has fresh bananas combined with thick, creamy ice cream. Overall, a delight!“

“The restaurant on the third floor that used to have mariachi shows is boarded up and closed. They been closed since the Covid shutdown. Everything else is open. There is still plenty of food and small booths selling leather goods, makeup, piñatas, traditional Mexican dresses and shirts, and lots more.“

They do not sell Liquor but they do sell/prepare Michelada Cups (Liquor store down the street). They accept Zelle & Hours vary some days.“

“This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. “A little pricey for a raspado, but I don't mind it when I'm really craving one. Some may say some of their flavors are too sweet but I really like the coco, cajeta (usually mix a different flavor with this one as it's the sweetest in my opinion but still good), limon and most of all the nuez ?.“

“If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.

Parking: There is plenty of parking outside the Secoya Market.“

“Cocohodo holds a special place as one of our family's favorite snack spots. Today, we swung by to pick up a Cocohodo box to gift to a friend. Opting for a small box with 36 pieces for the gift and a smaller bag of 10 pieces for ourselves, we patiently waited about 15 minutes for our warm, freshly cooked Cocohodo. The place was bustling with activity as we waited, and we also noticed they offer a variety of beverages for purchase.

“This is my go to Boba spot. Drinks are always on point and taste great. It does get a little packed but just be patient the staff is constantly moving and getting orders out. There's plenty of seats inside and out so if you're waiting you don't have to stand the whole time. Definitely recommend this spot. Use the Kiosk on the side to order usually goes by faster that way.“

“I stopped by this It's Boba Time today after completing my certification test nearby. I wanted to celebrate since I passed so I was craving a green apple slush. I walk by this Boba store many times but never stop by until now. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all so I went straight to the kiosk to put in my order. The process is simple and I didn't get charged tax at all. It didn't take long for my drink to come out and it was delicious. The drink was done just right where it wasn't too sweet or plain so I enjoyed my drink. The worker here is very friendly and if you don't want to order from the kiosk then they'll still take your order. They have indoor and outdoor seating here as well.“

“They have really good drinks here, I always get the taro oreo shake. They are pretty fast and the service is good. They also have a rewards system which gives you $6.00 dollars off any drink you want. They have ssluggish, shakes and Thai teas, so much selection“

“I was so happy to see this location open up in the 626. It's very conveniently placed near the movie theatre that I go to from time to time. So right after we watch the movies we will often come here to relax and get a bite to eat. The icy grass jelly signature is the way to go people!! Try it!“
