“I had an hour in between appointments in Montebello, really surprised to stumble at this mom & pop Mexican restaurant. It had four 4-person tables inside and an authentic vibe for locals. I ordered a Special Plate for 2 fish soft tacos that was served with rice & bean and a small drink for $10. I didn't think much of it at first, the portion was big. It was so delicious that ate the whole thing. I loved everything about this restaurant, definitely will come back again with my family.“

“Heard about this place for a while and finally had a chance to stop by this past weekend. Glad I did. Walking in I was warmly greeted by both the staff and the intoxicating aroma of carne on the grill. Took me a minute to decide what I wanted, the menu options are quite a bit. Ended up going with a chile relleno burrito and green chile / cheese tamale. The burrito was a banger, definitely get it again though I got my eye on trying the ribs and posole the next time I go.
Pro tip - get the habanero sauce. That heat was heavenly!“

“Looking for a quick lunch my buddy and I dropped by this spot on the way home from the gym.

I got the soup of the day and was recomended a gyro by Nick himself. My buddy got burger and fries. Everything was seasoned excellently and with attention to detail.

The soup hit the spot and the gyro filled me up and when we were just about finished with our meal Nick's wife brought us some lemon cake she baked herself it was awesome.

If you're in Montebello looking for some Greek food I highly suggest checking them out.

Parking: They have a lot with about 10 parking spots and the streets near by have free parking too.“

“This place is very delicious. I received the Lemon Pepper Tilapia. Prices are very reasonable. Customer Service was great! The only thing I disliked was the Sriracha provided. They had the original roster Sriracha on display but we were given the cheap Vinagre knock off.I will definitely be returning and becoming a regular.“

The people there are very nice, they have reasonable prices, and I feel like they are consistent with the quality of their food( at least for the last 5 years that I've been going).. my go tos are usually Pupusas de queso con jalapeño and bean and cheese, oh and the loroco ones. This is my go-to restaurant where I get my 🌄 cafecito, it's always fresh and hot. I feel welcomed every visit even after years of patronage. The local community supports this small business, and so should the tourists who visit the Montebello surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed.“

-Sushi:
We ordered yellowtail, albacore, and salmon sushi and they were unbelievably fresh, with each bite melting like butter. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and my boyfriend especially loved their salmon.

-Calamari Tempura:
It was crispy, and cooked to perfection. It came with a refreshing salad, and the house-made dressing added a burst of flavor that tied it all together.

- Baked Lobster Roll:One of my favorites! It was perfectly balanced and full of rich, satisfying flavors.
- Aloha Roll:A must try!, with just the right amount of spiciness, making each bite extra enjoyable.
- Salmon Roll:This roll was also incredibly fresh, with every bite bursting with flavor. I couldn’t recall the exact name because I was too busy savoring every mouthful!
- Monster Roll:It was packed with bold flavors and had the perfect harmony—absolutely delicious.

Service:
- Our server was kind and friendly, making the experience even better. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews about their service—we had a great time and felt well taken care of.“

“If you come to Sergio’s, you HAVE to get a wet burrito. They’re super delicious. Now I will say the cook who’s at the grill tends to matter a lot. Sometimes they have some of the younger crew running the grills and the food just doesn’t have that consistent quality. However, for the most part their wet burritos and Sopes overall are the hitters at Sergio’s. They’re so good. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I’ll keep coming back. If you’ve tasted Sergio’s on Garfield and Olympic it does not even compare, the Vail location wet burritos are a must try.“

“Got 7 tacos, and a Gordita. Asada was ok, pollo was better, pastor was ok, cabeza and tripa were SO GOOD. Fish taco is $3.99, shrimp $4.99 and both the same size as a regular taco. I was a little concerned but after trying both, they’re worth every penny. The fish and shrimp tacos here were honestly the best, freshest fish and shrimp tacos I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to come back for the mulita and torta“

“My husband and I have been coming here since we were dating, now we have our kids and take them when we are near by. We live about 2 hours away, but when we're in town it's a must have. Everyone is so nice and cool, service is super fast, food is great, and the atmosphere is pretty nice.“
