“This is by far one of the best places for authentic Mexican food. It's a food truck that cooks better then majority of restaurants and taquerias! I happened to stumble upon it while staying at the Captains Inn down the street. What astonished me the most was how affordable everything is! The breakfast burrito was amazing. The carne asada tacos were delicious! The meat had so much flavor and had the perfect tenderness. Unlike so many taquerias that have bland chewy carne asada. Another thing that stood out was the quesabirrias tacos they were crispy and packed with flavor. I loved the food and prices that I came back the next day to try more lol. The people were very polite and cooked everything in a timely manner. I highly recommend checking this place out. Whenever I'm in the area this is going to be my go to spot now. Heck, I may even make the long drive from San Jose for the sole purpose to eat those delicious Quessabirrias tacos again! I hope they expand and come to San Jose or anywhere in the bay area.“

“This is definitely a hidden gym. My brother and I went to try this place out after our church night service. They were closing down but they still took our order and still had quality customer service. I ordered 4 Birria Tacos and my brother ordered the Quesabirria taco and by far it is the best birria we had. Definitely making this my new spot for tacos and birria.“

“I never come to Watsonville I only started coming into town to take a class at the Cabrillo Center where I was fortunate enough to find Tacos El Jerry. why aren't more people talking about this place!? I was stunned, the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Quesabirria and Hortcha and I have to say. BEST QUESABIRRIA IVE EVER HAD!!!! “Love the food, so delicious, especially the horchatas and cucumber lime drink!, bit pricy but worth the price! Love this older gentleman that usually always there, he very sweet, great customer service, and helped me last time when I miscalculated my big orderprice and was short $6 and he said it was fine and didn't need to try to go to bank to repay the rest. “Went there on a Friday night and there wasn't a line which was nice since it was kinda cold outside. The menu was easy to read, and they were very helpful. The drinks were cold, and the food was super fresh and hot by the time we got home because we got it to go. Honestly the best asada burrito that I have ever eaten. The burrito could posbssnly be shared with two not that hungry people. However, if your hungry you could eat most of it. The rice and beans inside were tasty. The rice was nice and fluffy. I prefer whole beans so I was gladly surprised that they were. The salsa verde has great flavor and definitely some heat if you are not used to it. We got lucky with parking because there was an open spot right around the corner. They take cash and card which is really convenient. I highly recommend trying their food.“

“Was walking by and decided to give it a try. Luckily came in on a Tuesday and it's Taco Tuesday! Like the other reviewer mentioned the strange thing is that they don't have a menu with prices. For reference as of 1/30/24 a super burrito is $12.50“

“I like stopping here on my way home and getting a couple of $3 tacos when I have cash. This last time I tried a quesadilla de maiz and enjoyed that as well. Ask for an avocado salsa as well as regular salsa, both are good. Why choose just one?“

“My husband and I just finished our meal from Tacos El Jerry and I had to review right away because our meal was absolutely delicious!! We are staying at a beach house for our anniversary. Unfortunately, due to health issues I can’t have any dairy or gluten. It’s hard to find anything to eat at restaurants much less anything tasty. We had the carnitas tacos, birria tacos, the consommé, and the Jamaica. Not only was everything tasty, it all felt very comforting as well. I hope we can come back again soon to enjoy.“

“Family owned food truck. The entire family is in on making this a success. They have good customer service, great tacos and a variety of drinks. It is a taco truck so pretty much to go only. The food truck is parked in a is parking lot so not super appealing but the food and service are worth the trip.“

“I love this place! The service isn't bad but not good rather, but the food is consistent. It's good bad food! Wings and ceviche are bomb, my fav is the Taquitos. Chile poppers are bomb, Chinese, burger, fried tacos! Food is def good. And so are drinks. Ambiance is calm and cool. Will continue to go back.“
