“Absolutely amazing food. Every single thing we had was delicious. The beef Bourgogne stew was my favorite. The pre fixe was a great deal and the cod was cooked perfectly. The only complaint I have about the dessert is that it was too good and I want more. Best meal I've had in a long time and reasonably priced as well!”

“The food here is absolutely amazing!!!!! I had lemon thyme risotto with Scallops, my husband the Salmon. We had calamari for appetizer, and banana foster for dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly. The scallops were so tender and fresh. The ambience was nice, and I thought the drink selection was great. They do have kids menus if you want to bring your kids. It's probably the best food we have had in a while. Service was spot on. I highly recommend going here. It is a gem in the middle of nowhere, lol.”

“We found very good wine, food and conversation at Golden Leaves during our visit to the Fair Play area. Alex and Josey are the definition of life long learners having taken on the challenge of learning viticulture and winemaking from the ground up after retirement. They are enthusiastic and willing to share their experiences and knowledge. We enjoyed out visit greatly.”

“My family likes donuts, but often donuts don't taste like they're supposed to.You know what I mean, when we bite into a maple bar, apple fritter, or jelly donut, we expect it to have a certain taste, lots of shops don't make donuts taste right, but Donut Street faithfully gives us that trusted taste.”

“Got into town wanting to find a place to eat in the small town of Plymouth. Decided to try Tin Roof Wine Cafe as they also have a few menu items to choose from. This particular evening we ordered drinks and for dinner we had a barbecued chicken pizza and poblano green chili enchiladas with a side of rice. Both meals were exceptional, very delicious and just the right amount of food. The owner gave us a recommendation to a local winery along with a free tasting coupon...this too was exceptional! If you're ever in Plymouth, CA definitely plan to visit Tin Roof Wine Cafe you won't be disappointed.”

“This is a nice wood fired pizza place. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 pizzas between 4 people each with their own favorite but all agreed they were all delicious. They also had a different (unique?) selection of beer (ale?) that we enjoyed.”

“Located in the far side of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant, a throwback to earlier days. Warm greeting and attentive staff. Mostly booth seating. Food is perfect if you Are looking for Mexican food with little deviation from mild. The Chile verde was tasty but the beans (whole) and rice were bland. Complimentary chips were excellent and salsa was good. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon.”

“Best Americano, and every other coffee, we’ve ever had including from when I lived in Chicago. We choose them over Starbucks whenever they’re open. They also sell local bakery goods which are just as great. Healthy treats but tasty. I appreciate that there’s usually gluten free options.Everyone who works here is kind and friendly. Visiting here will brighten your day :) also you’re supporting a small business which is a win-win.”

“This place is so cute and the perfect stop on a road trip. I had a DELICIOUS chai latte with lavender added & a spinach quiche. Service was friendly and nice. The view was nice and relaxing.”
“My mom and I came on a Sunday in January. It was pretty empty when we arrived since there was a football game going on and the weather was a little gloomy; however, we had an absolutely wonderful time!I had actually discovered Di Stasio at a community event at the clubhouse in my neighborhood and have been dying to visit their tasting room since then. It was easy to find their tasting room and there was plenty of parking. The vineyards were beautiful even in January and the tasting room was so cute. We were greeted by Lindsey who helped guide us through our tasting. My mom and I both decided to try the all red wine tasting menu and were not disappointed. Everything we tried was so good with my favorite being the petite sirah. Lindsey educated us on the history of the vineyards and Di Stasio as well as each wine that we tasted. We had a great time!I will definitely be back with my hubby!”
“This is a winery with tastings for its own wines. They are great and very reasonable. If you belong to their wine club there are usually quarterly wine club pick ups with food, tastings, and music.”
“It just so happened I was interested in doing the Girl Scout pairing and I thought this was a different winery. I am glad I did ...we were told to have a seat and someone would be with us soon. I assumed it would take a while, but to my surprise a sweet girl name Migali I think that's her name ...greeted us right away with the pairings of Girl Scout cookies and wine she then explained every wine. A few moments later someone brought us some olive oil tasting with tiny bits of bread. They were sooooo good. I purchased the blackberry balsamic. Migali gave us a tour of the cave on the grounds where they have special dinners and events. It was a pretty good way to start our wine day!”
“Visited this place yesterday while driving around the area and looking for wineries that were open during holiday Christmas week. Found this one and the place had some good wines. Good sparking wines as well and in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. The ambiance was nice and really quiet during the time we went so that was cool. The people were friendly and very welcoming and enjoyed this hospitality! Will definitely be back.”
“My goodness, my wedding cake Ingrid did was more than wonderful. My guests still can't believe how much they loved it. 3 different flavors, carrot, chocolate, white layers with devine fillings/frostings. She decorated the cake(s) with fresh flowers and it was beautiful. Thank you Ingrid! I will definately be back for a baby shower cake when that time comes and my neighbors who were at the wedding made sure to get your name and contact information! Bless you!”
“Alex and Josy are perfect hosts. They are friendly and can recommend wines for your personal tastes. Alex brought me on a tour of the vineyards, showing the differences in the grape clusters of the different varieties. The couple also has homemade seasonal food choices that pair with their wines as well as satisfy your hunger. Their large AIR CONDITIONED tasting room has large, comfortable tables. The views are great, the visitors are friendly. This is definitely worth a stop.”
“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!”

“I had this a few days ago on a whim. I had seen the truck before but was always too late to get any before they closed. I got the beef tacos and carne asada fries. OMG. I could barely make it home, they smelled so good. I didn't even get the chance to eat it by myself because my family was all over the bag. It was absolutely delicious. To my knowledge there is no other authentic food like this in Amador county including the place across the street, which is terrible: Next time I go to this food truck I am not sharing. Quick service, great food.”

“Fabulous white and red wines at surprisingly reasonable prices! The staff is enthusiastic, entertaining and attentive. Bring a picnic and enjoy the gorgeous vineyard views from the hilltop. You will be grateful you turned into 12300 Steiner Road.”
“This 5 star review is because Janet was so sweet & very knowledgeable of the wines we tasted . Wow! Free wine tasting? That's almost unheard of these days . We loved the Barbera & The dessert wine . We bought both. We sat outside, the grounds are pretty and staff was also very friendly. They are constantly bringing you water so that was nice. They do not serve food , only minimal snacks so bring your own . We got 2 tiny trays they sell with cheese and salami. $18 was I bit steep when they cost like $4 at sprouts but our fault for not bringing any crackers or snacks . Other than that, we loved our time at Cooper Vineyard .”

“Had a bday party there recently. On a karaoke night. It was wonderful. I bought food to take home and it was scrumptious. Had breakfast couple weeks ago and for the money it was a lot of food. I'll be back Indeed. Bartenders and cooks ate so sweet and appreciative of the business you give them.”
