“This little donut shop is in the rural burbs of Placerville, CA. I’m obsessed with their donuts. Delicious! Visually gorgeous! Cover donut gorgeousness. The family that runs it is kind, engaging, and welcoming.

I luv donuts, ever since my dad introduced me to them at possibly too early age. Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of donuts. Sunshine donuts are just darn delicious. I prefer raised potatoes ver cake, but won’t turn one down. The raised donuts are airy, fluffy with the right amount of chew. The cake donuts are just as delicious but with a cake dense ness fluffiness. And I can’t stop saying enough about the smooth professional glazing. No glaze cracks or bubbling.

Don’t let the modest exterior fool you. Stop on by… not only do they have the best donuts around, they have breakfast sandwiches, other baked goods, coffee drinks and a cold case stocked with every non alcoholic drink you can think of. Milks, juices, energy drinks, sodas… etc.”

“Karmere is a lovely winery with beautiful views. Wonderful place to bring a charcuterie board or picnic lunch to enjoy with a glass of Karmere wines! “Out of the 9 wineries we went to this weekend Vino Noceto is the one I would tell everyone to go JUST to visit this winery, experience the wine and enjoy the conversation. The winery itself is nice - lots of space inside and outside. Bring a picnic, spend the afternoon and definitely see if you can pick just ONE wine ... because there were too many I loved to stick with one! The host and hostess - amazing! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and has a passion that had us hanging on every word. Plus he was so much fun and engaging we thought he was the owner! Lots of things to purchase inside - beautiful candles, massage cream, etc on top of crackers, etc. Don't get me started on the balsamic and oil! WOW! There wasn't a single other winery that we enjoyed every bottle that was poured for us. We will be back just to spend the afternoon with a few of our favs! (the price point is reasonable as well!). We came in sundresses however there were casual and moderately casually dressed people. Shorts and tshirts etc would have been fine as well. TRY THE WINE SLUSHY! 10 out of 10. I'll drive the hour for this winery.”

“We had a birthday dinner at Wonderful Chinese last night. When the reservations were made, I mentioned we were celebrating 3 birthdays. I did this to see if it would be okay to bring in a birthday cake and they said no problem. Much to our surprise when it was time for cake they brought out one, they had bought to add to the celebration. It was very touching and even more fun to hear Happy Birthday sung in Chinese. Thank you to everyone at Wonderful Chinese for a scrumptious dinner and helping us to make some special memories!”

“This is a winery with tastings for its own wines. They are great and very reasonable. If you belong to their wine club there are usually quarterly wine club pick ups with food, tastings, and music.”

“Really love stopping here when im passing through Amador City. The olive bread is amazing and the cookies are always fresh and that cheese bread they do is something else. Only thing is they sometimes run out of stuff by early afternoon which is a bummer if you get there late. Definitely worth the trip though and the people working are super friendly.”

“I've been going to Dillian for about 18 years now. Year after year the wine is consistently top notch. I tend to pour their wine for anyone who might not be familiar with wines in the region and it always goes over well. One of my favorite places and good people running it.”

The lager ( finished with plums) was delicious. The stout... exemplary.

The venue itself is earthy relaxing and a nice change from the corporate brewaries.

I'm gonna say 5 stars. It's definitely old school both with its beer and environment.

The owner was so patient with the barista in training and we learned a few new tricks as well, and the owner was super kind with my wife's espresso requests, and all with a smile (my wife can be a bit of a coffee snob sometimes).
