“This is my favorite restaurant in town. In Shasta there aren’t many food options, so I’m SO GLAD Crave is here for us!! I always get their veggie pupusas and veggie nachos! It’s 10x better than the nachos at any of the wanna be Mexican restaurants in town. Also, Lydia is the absolute best and I love that they have an outdoor sitting area!“
“Menu changes slightly! But the food was decent. Not sure if they specialize in their sausages before their tacos and burritos, but the food was just pretty good. The service was very kind and the people were amazing. It is only outdoor seating and cash only. It's in Mt Shasta City so everyone was so kind.“
“I'm personally confused as to the overall star rating of this restaurant (it should be higher)! My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The food was fresh and flavorful, along with the margaritas! I got the combination plate with two shredded chicken enchiladas, while my husband got the combination plate with a shredded beef enchilada and chili relleno. We both were a part of the "clean plate club". There is really nice outdoor seating, and the inside atmosphere has a rustic, western type feel with authentic music playing softly in the background. The staff was very friendly and accommodating- very genuine and helpful. I would highly recommend Lalo's, and my husband and I would definitely return!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphereParking: There is parking specifically for the restaurant.“
“5 stars for fish tacos, 1 stars for the bland vegan fajitas. Overall 3.5, rounding up to 4. Fish tacos were great - well cooked, juicy and flavors were well balanced. Got them on corn tortillas with a side of beans and Spanish rice. The spicy salsa was epic. Loved it, incredibly spicy and delicious!! The vegan fajitas were just steamed veggies without any spices or flavor. Just bland mess. Skip it unless you want to eat just plain ingredients vs eating a dish. Food was ready quickly and pretty fresh.“
“I had a fabulous lunch at PV yesterday! True to their family tradition every meal I’ve had a porta Vallarta has been fabulous! You can tell a lot of love went into each meal they put on the table! My chicken Kreme was cooked to perfection lots of chunky bites of chicken onions and bell peppers, and a huge portion so there was dinner leftovers for me too! We are really lucky to have them here in Mount Shasta, Dominic does a great job of making sure everything is running smoothly, I believe he is part of the family if he’s not he sure acts like it! He came by my table 3 times just to make sure everything was perfect and ask if there was anything else I needed to make my meal even better! The chips were fresh the salsa is always excellent the hot beans are just the icing on the cupcake of a great meal you get a porta Vallarta family restaurant in Mount Shasta! Good job team! Oh and did I say everything was Covid clean to perfection I saw them Covid clean the seats the table the side of the table and even the napkin holder right before my very eyes so as someone who works with the public I really appreciate them going the extra mile to make sure everything is clean and safe for me so I can can you to do my job with confidence working with the public that I have not been infected and every possible means to keep me Covid safe has been taken including masks on everyone in the restaurant at all times!! Good job PV!! I will be back !“
“El Zaguán is SO GOOD! We stop here for lunch or dinner every time we drive I5. I love to get tacos Al pastor, which come with delicious salsa and guacamole. Jose who owns the truck really cares about making delicious food. Service is always quick and quality is great.“
“As of March 2023, La Perla has the best Mexican food in Mt Shasta City. The street tacos are simple, but on-point with handmade tortillas. The birria is tasty and enchiladas are hot and made with enchilada sauce from scratch (not a can).Parking: Only room for a handful of cars, but you can park down the street“
