“This was a wonderful surprise. We had heard they have new/old owners and decided to give them a try. We arrived for Happy Hour and enjoyed a Margarita and Beer. Then the food arrived. The Mochete was amazing and a very large portion. The beans and rice were flavorful and fresh. Husbands Enchiladas were also delicious. Our waitress was sooooo sweet and knows so much about the area. We will definitely be going back! This is the closest to Authentic Mexican food I have had in years.“

“Amazing tasting tacos. The steak tacos had high quality meat. My 1 and only complaint is when I took the food out of the bag it dropped meat juices EVERYWHERE!! Luckily I had wipes and paper towel in my car. Other then, it was super excellent.“

“Lalos is really great. It's centrally located right on the main drag, has outdoor seating, a full bar and conference/event space. Prices are not the lowest but everywhere seems overpriced these days.

“I had a fabulous lunch at PV yesterday! True to their family tradition every meal I’ve had a porta Vallarta has been fabulous! You can tell a lot of love went into each meal they put on the table! My chicken Kreme was cooked to perfection lots of chunky bites of chicken onions and bell peppers, and a huge portion so there was dinner leftovers for me too! We are really lucky to have them here in Mount Shasta, Dominic does a great job of making sure everything is running smoothly, I believe he is part of the family if he’s not he sure acts like it! He came by my table 3 times just to make sure everything was perfect and ask if there was anything else I needed to make my meal even better! The chips were fresh the salsa is always excellent the hot beans are just the icing on the cupcake of a great meal you get a porta Vallarta family restaurant in Mount Shasta! Good job team! Oh and did I say everything was Covid clean to perfection I saw them Covid clean the seats the table the side of the table and even the napkin holder right before my very eyes so as someone who works with the public I really appreciate them going the extra mile to make sure everything is clean and safe for me so I can can you to do my job with confidence working with the public that I have not been infected and every possible means to keep me Covid safe has been taken including masks on everyone in the restaurant at all times!!
