This was apparently the former Officers Club building and sits across from the looming Hangar One.

“We are evacuees from the SC Mtn fires. Brew City was offering free meals so we decided to try it. I cannot say thank you enough. We were treated with so much kindness from all of the staff and the owner. Not only is the food and beer selection amazing but the atmosphere and outside restaurant set up is beautiful. We actually laughed and talked as a family. It was the best thing to happen to us in 10 days of evacuation, moving constantly and never knowing if we have a home to go back to. We will continue to come back as regular patrons... and I promise not to cry again. Please support this amazing restaurant. He said he would continue to do it as long as he could. We paid half of our bill for an amazing meal and a healing experience. My only complaint is they do not have merchandise to purchase! I wanted to be able to support them when we are back in our feet. I had the pleasure of dining at Rice Junky in Santa Clara today, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, Joe, the manager, and Jay, the server, made me feel incredibly welcome. Their attention to detail and genuine care for customers shone through in every interaction.

The food, oh, the food! It was a delightful journey through flavors that are both comforting and exciting. Each dish was prepared with such skill and passion, truly showcasing the best of Korean cuisine. The ambiance of Rice Junky added to the overall enjoyment, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the culinary experience perfectly.

I cannot recommend Rice Junky enough to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience in Santa Clara. Thank you, Joe and Jay, for making my day brighter. I look forward to my next visit!

“Met a colleague at a local wine bar.... First one said they were closing early.... Ok... Walked to the next. The other wine bar said they were closed, had at least six individuals drinking full glasses of wine. Refused service unless I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine Togo. I left.... Found the bank.... Met my colleague.... Dropped some cash at a great bar that appreciates customers. Later had a great meal... Dropped more cash at Burger Bar next door. My fault for leaving Woodside that day!
