“Until you stop here, you really don't fully understand why the owners named it Los Pinos, but once you do, the gigantic pines' presence is all you feel. For years, this was just a place I passed on my way to Arnold, but only recently did I stop and try the food. I used to live in the Mission in SF during the slacker 90s era, so I thought I knew what a good cheap burrito was. Easily, Los Pinos' pastor burritos, dolloped with a mixture of their tangy red and fiery green salsas is the best burrito I've ever had and it isn't even close. Their quesabirria is also a highlight. They don't skimp on the birria and the consomme is studded with even more birria. Everything is packed with flavor. Not as cheap as in the 90s, but well worth your tacqueria dollars.“

“Great variety of dishes and meats. Had a delicious grilled carne asada burrito and my partner had the asada tacos. Service was friendly and fast, with a pager for when food is ready. Nice patio tables under a tarp. Finally, I was happy to support a family with an adult autistic daughter. Highly recommended“
