“Missed share tea when it was in convoy. I was happy to find out. They had one national city, one of my favorite places to get bubble tea. when I went there was only one person working. The lights were off. Pretty sure he was bored or hot or they’re trying to conserve energy. But it didn’t stop him from making the drink delicious. “My friend invited me to her favorite pho spot, House of Pho, for a girls' lunch, and I can't believe I hadn't been here before—wow! While pho is their specialty, I decided to try the BBQ chicken rice plate, and I absolutely loved it. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled, served with fragrant rice and a delicious side of broth that added an extra comforting touch.

I am a harsh boba critic, and have been to many spots across San Diego. R&B stands near the top.

Drinks blended well. Smooth tea and milk. No flakes or bitter tea. Good boba balls, well cooked. Huge variety and selection. They have a lot of non caffeine options as well. My girlfriend is very particular. She can’t have caffeine and can’t have anything too sweet. She loves to get their cream cheese Taro or honey dew frostys but she asks for no cheese and they accommodate that. And gets 50% sweet. They make it so well and she and I both love their drinks.

I highly recommend their brown sugar, strawberry, honeydew, and taro milk teas. They also have a ton of frosty blended drinks too.

“reminds me of Taiwan, specifically a typical cafe in Gaoxiong, which is the most comparable place to SD in the US. It's spacious, comfortable (cushion for butts without cushion), family-friendly, pet-friendly, games for kids, a piano: it's basically a day-care center. The decoration is very DIY and neat, which is what really gave me Taiwan vibes. Yellow lights (I don't know why other shops use bright white office lights..) They know how to decorate on a budget. Clean bathroom. Clearly a family business. The owners are from Guangdong, but theyre quite different from the city people. Maybe San Diego slowed them down.. If this is the vibe of SD, I'm def lovin' it!

drinks are pricey, $6+ with boba. Boba isn't free. Standard milk tea is solid, but even at 30% sweetness, it's quite sweet. Egg puff for $5 is cute.

“Best milk tea in San Diego! Our go to drink has been oolong milk tea with tiramisu topping and house boba. Just got the fruit tea today, and it’s very refreshing too! They recently added this kiosk machine and replaced the older chairs and tables with new. Look really nice! Highly recommended!“

“I always try to stop by R&B tea if I am near one. There aren’t many in San Diego so it’s always a treat if I can get my favorite drink: brown sugar boba milk.

Brown sugar boba milk - my favorite! The fresh milk is so tasty and mixed with a salted cheese foam with brown sugar. (Do not adjust the sweetness down or it won’t be as flavorful.)
Some other R&B locations offer this is a XL size for $2 more, but not this location.

The worker was friendly and made our drinks fast during a weekday afternoon.

“This place is very interesting. Theres always someone practicing instruments on the little stage but ive never been here for an actual performance.
I asked for a blended Vietnamese milk coffee which isnt on the menu but they whipped it right up.

“Not sure what’s taking me so long to write a review for this place, but I’m a regular. This is the place i go a few times a week to get my boba fix. Their boba texture is just about right. You can customize your drink - no ice, less sugar,etc at no extra charge. It’s dangerous for my waistline but worth it. It’s a small shop and there’s not really an area to sit down to hang out. It’s more like an order and go kind place.“

The menu covers the usual flavored drink combos with just as many unique signature flavored drinks. Of course, like the Boba you have the option to get a traditional iced tea or hot cocoa But Why?? Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink ??. I tried the classic milk tea and a fruit tea, and both were delicious. The sweetness level was just right, and I loved that they let you customize it.“

I also love that they seem to be involved with the community, they were doing a fundraiser to support suicide prevention/awareness and I am all for it.They were handing out samples of their bubble waffles which were super good, but I wanted boba tea.They had so many different styles of tea it was hard to choose so I asked for a suggestion and was told the Hawaiian fruit tea was good it’s either black or green tea with chunks of tropical fruits and lemon. I got it with black tea but added boba to it, it was everything I didn’t know I needed. I sat and drank it and got one for my daughter waiting at home.
