“I've been eating here for a while and coming from Publix subs I do like the Italian herbs and cheese here, even during lunch hour when the line's long, my online orders always seem prep'd for me somehow. The subs aren't toasted as long as Publix, but the bread benefits from not being too dry and crunchy, but sometimes if I order before a 20 minute commute or something they're not freshly hot which I kind of would enjoy more, but at that point I might as well just give myself the time to sit down and eat at the restaurant, which isn't their fault but my own. Considering that's my only complaint I could probably just ask them to toast it longer next time and see how that works out, but I typically forget to ask.”

“Pizza is delicious!!! We were visiting Oxnard and Toppers was highly recommended.
I always get extra sauce on any pizza, Toppers did not disappoint from crust to toppings. Yum! I can’t speak on service or atmosphere in house but the delivery service was great!
Pizza was hot, driver was friendly, and provided the extra chili flakes and parm.”

“This CRUMBL location in Oxnard, CA is my go to place. It's the closest one to my home and also my exercise gym. It is such a great place to have found for last-minute treats that are always available and always changing per month to month so i can try new ones almost every time I go. I love them so much because they sell delicious cookies that I divide into quarters.. And then lay them out onto a plate so people can try different flavor flavors and find the one they like the most. It is always a hit! I would be more than happy to encourage everyone to try CRUMBL Once, and they'll go back and back and back it's so good”

“Had a unique and absolutely delicious lunch here. Shrimp tacos are not to be missed. Chaufa was really yummy, especially with the extra hot sauces offered. The soup of the day was a watermelon gazpachl that I would have never normally ordered but was so silky, smoky, and totally unexpected. Our waitress was sweet and attentive as well.”

Overall, the food has a tasty, lighter, and balanced flavor profile that we enjoy. But talking about service, can you imagine our surprise when a waitress walked over to our table and gave us 50.00 in cash (not credit) saying that we overpaid on our last visit - a month ago! Some years earlier, one of the sushi chefs and former student of mine paid for our meal as a surprising and much appreciated gesture of gratitude. Thank you.”

The food is fantastic (lobster bisque, filet mignon, halibut, salmon, ribeye, scallops, sesame ahi, Seabass, Brie chicken, filet mignon bites, chocolate cheesecake are some of our favorites). The servers and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.”

“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!”

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. So check out this community treasure whenever you're in Ventura County! You will not be disappointed but will find a home away from home.”
