“This is the platonic ideal of a cafe! When I'm home I put on ambient music from YouTube to try to capture this vibe: jazz playing, rustic decor, relaxing outdoor seating, a pot of tea or a cappuccino cooling. We will definitely be regulars.

It's open from early into the morning to late at night. The food is not just continental, but a diverse mix, which is normally a bad sign, but here its the perfect mix: from an exquisite absolutely massive Turkish breakfast representing the owner's culture (with a delicious pot of Indian tea), to hard-to-find Phillipino food, likely the chef's. There's also Afgan food, with kebab's in a far larger serving size than any place around.

“I come here all the time for breakfast and lunch, and it’s always really great. The employees are kind and helpful, there’s a lot of seating, it’s very clean, and I have enjoyed everything I’ve had to eat or drink. My usual favorites are the iced chai and any of the sandwiches.“

“Tasty fresh black coffee, peppery refried beans, and the right amount of crispy and soft machaca and eggs.

This quick stop turned into a wonderful family style diner where you can sit back and enjoy your meal and put down your phone for a little while.

The refried beans really tied my machaca plate together. The little bit of spiciness and black pepper pops and it reminded me of bean and cheese burritos growing up.

It's worth more to find a Noahs Bagels and get something with more in the bagel or sandwich for about the same price or a lil more

I wont be back here for any breakfast sandwich. They had a lot of options for shmears it probably would've been better just to get a bagel“

One has to lower expectations given that this is within the university and caters to a diverse set of diners, so the tastes are milder vs the local Asian staples. A good representation nonetheless of Asian cuisine. The dining area is soley outdoors but relatively clean and provides a good campus spot to have ones meal and to meet up. No toilets available.

Vegetarian options: Counter style gives you options but ask servers on specific ingredients used

Parking: Stanford University parking system in effect while free parking lots are further situated with the use of free shuttles

Kid-friendliness: Ample options for kid's tastes

Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious seating outdoors but ordering has to be done by counter“

“A true hidden gem in Mountain View. We love coming here for our Saturday morning bagel fix. The bagels are made in-house and have a fantastic texture, with some unique flavors like Swiss cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. Their homemade cream cheese is also a must-try. I'm a big fan of their Vietnamese coffee—it's got a unique blend that's unlike anywhere else. The place is simple but spotlessly clean, and the staff always wears masks. Even on a Sunday evening, the place was buzzing with people, mostly students and professionals working away, which gives it a nice productive vibe. The WiFi was reliable too, which is always a plus. “Didn’t want to go out for lunch so w stopped by this little place. There’s daily specials and they also have sandwiches and wraps. I ordered In the club, it’s a club sandwich. It had a lot of protein in it and was rather large and came with a bag of chips. It had ham, chicken, bacon, etc. Delicious! The staff are so nice too. It was around $15 for the sandwich and chips. I took half home.“

Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!“

It was good, but the burger patty could have used a little more seasoning in my opinion. The burger was also a bit pricey for the portion size you are getting, but that’s Stanford generally, so do not hold them against it. Staff is very kind & accommodating.“
