“Sooo delicious! On my first visit at this scrumptious bakery, I bought coffee, a chicken tamale and an eclair at 3pm. I’m still licking my fingers! All three items were delicious! I can’t wait for my next visit ? sadly they ran out of the churros, but I hope to try them soon.“

“Oh man. Let me tell you. This place is choice. I can’t speak to their customer service or anything like that because indoor and outdoor dining is suspended, but I sure can rave about their tacos.I needed catering (obviously obeying all the mandates in the same manner that our Democratic government does) on New Year’s Day. Suddenly. Like, I didn’t even have time to plan it. On NYE I went out and about, fishing through all my local taco favorites. They were either closed, or didn’t want to work on the holiday.I stopped at Starbucks for a tea, and to come up with a way to tell my wife it just ain’t gonna happen without getting killed.I look over, and like a shining light in the darkness, I see the broken green sign saying TACOS, and Padre. I think to myself “what the hell, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had came off a cart with three wheels and two pedals.”I went in. Not impressed, but I figured I’d ask anyway. At this point, I’d settle for any tacos for the big day.The hostess spoke English really well. Not a good omen. When she took my questions to the cook though (who later I find out is the owner), he clearly doesn’t speak a lick of English. Faith restored.Shocked when I find out they’re willing to cater for me. Awesome. Deal done. Out of a grim curiosity, I ordered dinner there. The tacos were amazing. Not only were the meat and tortillas on point, but the onions and cilantro were FINELY chopped. When I say fine, I mean super fine. It’s clear someone who loves their craft is preparing this food. The next day I show up to pick up 80 tacos. I’m a tad disappointed when I’m there ten minutes early and find that my food is already in tin containers, but if I’m being honest, it’s just unreasonable to expect otherwise.I get the food home and serve. Damnit. These F*****G tacos are fantastic. They’re just as amazing as the fresh ones I got the night before. They’ve got two salsas. An orange one and a green one. You can tell they’re home made and even the mild one is hotter than heck. I love it. My little white niece had to ice her lips, and went back for more five minute later. We laughed.I’ve found my new taco place. Taco Padre is amazing, and they’ve permanently earned my business.Thank you so much guys. There are so many Mexican restaurants around here, I’m sorry it took me a year and a half to find you. You’re it though. To have and to hold, ‘till death do us part.“
“This is by far the best Mexican food in SCV! The food is always fresh, handmade, not greasy and very delicious(no matter what you order). I love the BUCHE burrito which I don't eat just anywhere, unless I know its a clean establishment. I'm extremely picky about this meat in particular but when cooked right; Buche is the ? My other favorites include Bistec con Papas: Steak & potatoes in sauce served with rice & beans and the chiles rellenos ? Any kind of tacos or gorditas and tortas are yummy too & you can't forget about their homemade drinks/ aguas frescas. I'd recommend everything from here...I guarantee you won't be disappointed! The staff is also amazing, kind and give great customer service ? you've got to check this place out. It's a Santa Clarita staple with humble roots and delicious Mexican food? ???“

“Went to La Charrita and was pleasantly surprised at the vast options of vegan food- they have a whole vegan menu! I ordered the vegan birria and my husband ordered the vegan torta- they were both delicious and service was wonderful. Definitely will be returning!“
