The whole place was top notch. Definitely recommend!
Yes, it is a hotel restaurant, but the chef obviously cares. Look at my avocado toast. I would have been happy with a decent piece of bread with avocado, but this was the prettiest avocado toast I have ever had. We went to breakfast and dinner and at dinner there was no one there which is a shame. Hopefully it gets busier because it is a good restaurant and not just a decent hotel restaurant.
The WAVE Newport Beach is a solid go-to when you want a relaxed Newport Beach vibe without overthinking it. The food is consistently good, the drinks are easy to enjoy, and the whole place has that clean, coastal feel. Nothing feels forced or overdone. Service is friendly and keeps things moving, and it’s an easy spot to sit down, eat well, and have a straightforward, enjoyable experience.
