“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“I have been getting food her since I was a little boy, and there is nothing in lake forest that compares to it for me. I find my self craving their burgers whenever I’m away from home. Their pancake breakfast reminds me of my childhood, the soft sweet buttery pancakes melting in your mouth and stuffing your stomach. You’re always guaranteed to leave burger town with a full stomach. They’re a staple in the community.“

“We have visited this Restaurant since 2008. It is our children's favorite since they were little when the horse carousel existed. I remember that we had to call the employees to turn the carousel around. This place brings back good memories and is very familiar. We have just visited it. The flavors of the food are the same, the pancakes are the favorites and we are very happy to see the staff that works here, unfortunately there are certain details in the restaurant that need attention such as child seats occupying seat belts, also repairs such as The roof is affected in rainy weather, the bathrooms may need remodeling, but at the same time that is what makes it historic. We love this place and even more so the people who serve us with that skill. Thank you for your services and we will return again and again. time❤️

“Food was awesome! Husband got a mushroom swiss burger and said it was amazing ... daughter had a side of Mac and Cheese which she loved and it wasn't a box kraft like some restaurants try to do. I had tomato soup and it was creamy and not to acidic! Yum!
Service was pretty none existent since u order on a machine and then go uo can get your own food after the buzzer and tables we were able to find pretty well on a Sunday afternoon.

“I don’t usually expect standout service at a fast food spot, but Kain at Tommy’s Burger absolutely went above and beyond. I came in with my family—including a couple of very picky eater kids—and let’s just say, our order wasn’t exactly simple.

When we needed a refire on one of the burgers (not their fault, just one of the kids being extra particular), Kain handled it with patience and a smile. He made sure everything came out right and checked back in to make sure we were happy.

You could tell he actually cared about giving great service, and that made a big difference for us. It turned a quick meal into a really pleasant experience.

“I love this place! Discovered it last year while vacationing in Newport. They have the yummiest freshest farm fresh food. Last night We had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, curry chicken sandwich and Drunken noodles. Probably the best burger I have ever had! The curry sandwich was to die for and the noodles were very spicy but delicious!

“Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!!
