“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“I love this place! Discovered it last year while vacationing in Newport. They have the yummiest freshest farm fresh food. Last night We had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, curry chicken sandwich and Drunken noodles. Probably the best burger I have ever had! The curry sandwich was to die for and the noodles were very spicy but delicious!
We will definitely return.

“Stopped in this cafe on a whim today and was so happy I did. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The sourdough was amazingly good, crisp and chewy, and the eggs were fluffy. The staff was so friendly and nice and the pricing was very reasonable. “Spacious layout with a country homey feel. Well thought out table placements and booth buildouts. The salad was a healthy size and seasonal variety favorite of our group. Noticed they provided steel cups for the water station, yes they had plastic, but it was refreshing to see they get water tastes better out of plastic and single use, pardon my French, just sucks, avoid doing it like a campsite counselor avoids a visiting Grizzly to the campsite. Their sandwiches were not overly packed, which I find is a new trend, people trying too hard to add an explanation point to their sandwiches, less is more, if precisely prepared. Their banana bread, with chocolate, which was vegan, was absolutely a home run. Took a few slices to go and the agreement was, not too sweet, just the right moisture and texture around the edges .
The staff are low key, attentive and made great recommendations. If you are in Newport Beach and looking for casual delicious wholesome food, this is a spot very much worth stopping in for a bite. Did not try to the coffee, but they had a nice set up and prices that were reasonable in comparison to what I have seen in Los Angeles for the same drink. The basics, cortado, flat white, espresso shots, latte, cappuccino etc etc...“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “After our quick flight we were looking for a spot to grab coffee and a bite before a show at the Segerstrom Center. Most of the nearby recs on Reddit were super upscale—not really our vibe. We’re into the arts, sure, but we’re also lowkey and prefer somewhere relaxed. So glad we found Hola Adios. The coffee hit the spot, the breakfast burritos were delicious, and the chill, youthful energy of the place made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want good food without the fuss.“

“Food was delicious! We ordered crab toast, shrimp fried rice, pork belly rice bowl, curry crab omelette. It was a super busy Saturday lunchtime, above average noise level and food took a little time. I told our server, Brandon, that my son cannot eat anything spicy. I didn't notice when our food came out that my son's fried rice had chili flakes on top. Brandon checked up on us and immediately saw this. He apologized and tool the food back to the kitchen. It was given priority and it did not long to come out. I appreciate his concern and good service.“

“Glad we took made the decision to stop in early this morning, it is an all day menu. Went right for the Lobster Roll instead of waiting for lunch, also pictured the Jalapeno Cheddar Bagel with Cream done right. Lobster was fresh, just like the greens, aioli was light as it should be brioche was perfect for MP $38 beachfront you really cant do better. Also had the granola yogurt and strawberry banana smoothie, gotta come back for another smoothie later.

The strawberry sakura latte was perfect with less coffee. The server was very nice & accommodating. Would definitely go back and try different flavors.“

“A nice small café with a boutique attached. It felt to me like an original breakfast place with unique menu items.

Your order at the counter where you can also see the daily specials, and then you sit where you want.

The food actually came pretty fast.
The hot chocolate was nice - it wasn’t too thick and didn’t seem over sweet. The foam was actually nice to have!
There is an effort in presentation as you can see from the pictures.
We all liked it. I tried a bit of the swedish pancakes, it is very sweet and heavy as you can expect, but enjoyable!
The Eggs Anna were definitely original with that sauce. It was very interesting. I’m not gonna say it’s the best thing I ever had, but it was good.

It was farmers’ market, but we didn’t struggle to find a place to sit.
For parking, you need to find in the city - but, the place is not far from the main areas, so convenient. You just walk a few blocks.

Pro tip: you can get the assam milk tea with no ice for no extra charge. But I typically do light ice. Plenty of parking.“

“7 Leaves is my go-to for milk tea. This place is beautiful when you walk in, absolutely love the theme.

They have a huge variety of flavors for macarons and milk tea, plus lots of other drinks are served too. My favorite is the Taro milk tea.
The drinks and macarons are very flavorful. A lot of other milk tea I have from different places tastes more watery than the tea at 7 Leaves, they do an excellent job with their drinks.

However the macarons are a little bit out of the expected price range, but still worth trying out!
