“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“The employees were nice, I was helping them put some chairs out as I wait for them to open. Long story short, the person claiming to be executive chef asked me to leave the restaurant in a very rude and uncivilized manner pointing to the door and moving his finger up and down “we’re trying to work”. I wasn’t in his way and I didn’t talk to him. Just a rude person with an ugly ponytail. I will probably never go back here again and I only live 5 minutes away. Good job!“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “Absolutely wonderful experience!! This is our sixth trip here in the last ~3 years, and they deliver every time. In addition to the modern ambiance in a beautifully natural-lit room, dishes were packed with flavor and arranged in gorgeous presentations. Service is quick and attentive- accommodates allergies well.

+ The Dao: A classic. Potato espuma on top adds the perfect creamy touch to a slick, perfectly put-together dish. A must-have!
+ Seafood Ceviche: Sublime flavors and presentation. A happy mix of spicy and tangy, with generous proportions of seafood! Served with crisp shrimp crackers.
+ Chicken Wings: Finger-lickin' good! On the sweeter side, and the crunchy bits on top added a beautiful texture. Lovely garlicy flavor.
+ Xoi Man: Order this every time. Very classic dish, and the consistency of the rice is impeccable. (Generous # of) quail eggs melt in your mouth. The included pate was rich and flavorful.
+ Coconut Matcha: SPECTACULAR!!! Was absolutely divine. Comes with refreshingly sweet coconut water, topped with a creamy green matcha cheese foam, and a of slice tender coconut flesh (photo added). Presentation was impressive. Definitely a sweet-tooth beverage, but that's how we like our drinks. ((: Would order this again any day.

“O.B is the only coffee shop in OC who HAS NOT BURNT my espresso!! The iced latte is delicious simply with organic milk and a little maple. NO pretentious hipster energy here unlike many other shops around town. For the people who love nerding out on coffee, you'll love this place“

“A nice small café with a boutique attached. It felt to me like an original breakfast place with unique menu items.

Your order at the counter where you can also see the daily specials, and then you sit where you want.

The food actually came pretty fast.
The hot chocolate was nice - it wasn’t too thick and didn’t seem over sweet. The foam was actually nice to have!
There is an effort in presentation as you can see from the pictures.
We all liked it. I tried a bit of the swedish pancakes, it is very sweet and heavy as you can expect, but enjoyable!
The Eggs Anna were definitely original with that sauce. It was very interesting. I’m not gonna say it’s the best thing I ever had, but it was good.

It was farmers’ market, but we didn’t struggle to find a place to sit.
For parking, you need to find in the city - but, the place is not far from the main areas, so convenient. You just walk a few blocks.

“The employees at this 7 Leaves are always so nice and fast! The decor is minimalist, but I always get my drinks to go anyway. My favorites are the assam milk tea and summer mint tea! Pro tip: you can get the assam milk tea with no ice for no extra charge. But I typically do light ice. Plenty of parking.“

“7 Leaves is my go-to for milk tea. This place is beautiful when you walk in, absolutely love the theme.

They have a huge variety of flavors for macarons and milk tea, plus lots of other drinks are served too. My favorite is the Taro milk tea.
The drinks and macarons are very flavorful. A lot of other milk tea I have from different places tastes more watery than the tea at 7 Leaves, they do an excellent job with their drinks.

However the macarons are a little bit out of the expected price range, but still worth trying out!

The service is very nice and hardworking, keeping the place clean, and most importantly, having customers leave satisfied!“
