“We went here for a special birthday celebration. It is recommended to make reservations ahead of time. We last minute called and were able to get a reservation for 5. It is a nice candlelight ambiance. Food was delicious. We had ordered the osso, branzino fish with plate, and the steak. It was all delicious. When we sat down, it came with complimentary bread and marinated mushrooms. The veggies had celery in it which wasn’t my favorite“

“We needed something quick while we were out and wanted something that would leave us feeling good - found Urban Plates and it exceeded what we were looking for! My grass-fed steak was tender and juicy, the mac n cheese was comforting and delicious, and the side of beets paired well with the goat cheese. My husband enjoyed his crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I love the variety of food offered at Urban Plates and knowing my body is getting high quality nutrients while enjoying something delicious!

He took our order, repeated it back to us to make sure it was correct, upon delivering the food he brought our more forks and knives, then cleared away our plates at the end. Service was amazing, and the food was too. We got the lunatic sampler plater; the falafel was hot and tasty, the stuffed grapes leaves yummy and the hummus with pita also tasty. The salad had a nice herb dressing.“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

I struggled to find in Southern California a really authentic kabob place that feels like home kabob until I found this restaurant. Literally, I eat ant this restaurant every day. Not to mention, the place is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. I actually lived in several States; I have been in Southern California for three years; and I am so glad that I finally managed to find this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised because everything from the friendly atmosphere, to the price, and especially to the pizza was excellent. My wife got a Canadian bacon and pineapple, which was delicious. I got just pepperoni, which was also delicious. Crust is thick and yummy, they put enough sauce, ingredients and cheese… Not skimpy. We will definitely be going back.“

“Costa Mesa/Newport Beach, CA 📍hands down 10/10, food and experience. We stopped in here after the wonderful owner, Kurt, invited us down to try his delicious sandwiches! And safe to say we made the right choice. These sandwiches are huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. This location has been here since 2013, however beach hut has been around since the 80’s. They even add cream cheese to some of their sandwiches! 😋 The staff was wonderful, including the owner Kurt. You are missing out if you don’t stop in to get a sandwhich, tell them coco sent you!“
