“This is a place I always ome to when I'm in town. The first time I went there, I was alone and a nice man named Dave who was sitting in a booth with someone socializing started talking to me. The next couple of times I went, he was there. He doesnt remember my name but he remembers my face. Ive met lots of locals through Dave. Its also a place my Uncle frequently eats. They dont serve alcohol but it reminds me of a diner version of Cheers. The food is good and the coffee is great. You may even find someone to talk to. The outdoor seating is very comfortable.“

“I had a lovely time being greeted by an open door by an employee named Zach, with an excellent cashier who had helped me decide to eat the ahi tuna bowl! It was a delicious bowl and the corner piece of bread was absolutely the best. The restaurant itself had an amazing atmosphere with such a warm welcome and wonderful staff! I cannot wait to return!“

“This is a wonderful bowling alley! It is clean and well maintained, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. I didn't have any issues at all with my lanes while practicing for nearly three hours. Both the bar and the grill were well run and efficient too. I had tri-tip sandwich that was delicious. While I was eating lunch, the General Manager walked over and asked me how my lunch was and offered to comp me some more games as well as invite me to a future bowling tournament! He really made me feel like a local regular. The ambiance is laid back and chill, just like it should be for an alley. Everyone from the center I interacted with was direct and courteous, which was a breath of fresh air. And I knew I was in the right place when I stepped in and saw the American and State of California flags hanging above the lanes. If you are anywhere near Santa Maria and want to relax with friends, have some BBQ and maybe an adult beverage or two, hit this place up!“

“When traveling along the coast, I always make it a point to stop at ManRock Brewing Co. Beers are incredible (loved the “Get Him a Hoppy Bag” triple hazy IPA), food is great and comes out fast (try the bacon covered hot dog) and service is always friendly. Was surprised and happy to find they were open July 4th too! Was also able to get some cans of my favorites to bring home.“

“This charming cafe is everything you remember best about the breakfast and lunch place where you grew up. Very home cooked, simple all American fare that's very well done. There's a wonderful variety of homemade muffins, standard breakfast items and sandwiches. Nothing too fancy and everything's delicious. You feel like part of the family by the end of your meal.“

“It's Applebee's and I know what to expect as far as food. I stick to fresher items like salads and grilled chicken dishes. What makes this place stand out is the staff. Ezra Paco makes you feel like part of the family. I've been a frequent patron in the last 2 years. He know my drink preferences, food likes and dislikes. His engaging and accurate prompt service is should be applauded. Support staff and bartenders add to welcoming feeling of the Santa Maria A-b's

“My dad is a service related disabled Vietnam veteran. Today I took him to get his special free veteran’s day meal. Thank you Denny’s for allowing him to take it to go. He has trouble walking and sitting for too long lately and has been reluctant to go out much, especially to crowded restaurants, due to COVID 19. The meal was amazing! He had enough pancakes to share with his grandkids.😉 Even as busy as you were, the service was amazing and quick. I think he waited a total of 10 mins. Maybe consider handing out a free meal card for next year to still help avoid the large crowd that was still present and did not allow for social distancing. You did way better than IHOP who stipulated he had to eat it there and not get it to go and they were packed as well. We left and went straight to you. Thank you for recognizing and supporting all service members, past and present.“
