“This is a place I always ome to when I'm in town. The first time I went there, I was alone and a nice man named Dave who was sitting in a booth with someone socializing started talking to me. The next couple of times I went, he was there. He doesnt remember my name but he remembers my face. Ive met lots of locals through Dave. Its also a place my Uncle frequently eats. They dont serve alcohol but it reminds me of a diner version of Cheers. The food is good and the coffee is great. You may even find someone to talk to. The outdoor seating is very comfortable.“

“Stopped by for lunch on the weekend.
The food here is really delicious, and the atmosphere is nice. The waitress was very friendly and recommended several dishes to me. The fried eggplant was especially tasty, along with many other things. The only downside was that the Pad Thai noodles I ordered seemed a bit undercooked, but the flavor was still excellent. I’ll definitely invite my friends to come and will be back again soon.“

The only thing I would suggest for the owners is making the base a thicker consistency for it became really runny very quick before me and my partner could finish. The bathroom was super clean. I was highly impressed. Their hand towels in the bathroom were even soft. You order at the counter and then sit indoors or outdoors on the cute patio where you can watch people walking by. Dietary restrictions are always accommodated. Many different choices, all seem reasonably priced. The lunch special of a wrap and cup of lentil soup is an amazing deal. My favorite gyros on the central coast. The pita used to wrap the fillings are surprisingly delicious.“

“This was our first visit to Boonie Thai. We tried the green curry (with chicken) over brown rice. The food was surprisingly good. Topped off with Thai iced tea (and Thai tea with lime which was very refreshing!). The one dish, split between us, was more than enough food for two. The prices were fair and the service wonderful. The owner, Otis, took time to chat and made sure we were taken care of.\nCan't wait to return to try their Phat Thai!“

They play old country music that takes you back to childhood and there are a million photos of cowboys and Rodeos from days gone by. The food is ALL fresh. The chopp all fresh veggies for sides, salads, and recipes themselves. Dressings are home made. Gravey + mashed potatoes, all homemade. And folks the gravey is to die for no matter what kind you get. The chicken fried steak is HOMEMADE like my mother used to make. They serve all the best breakfast, lunch, and dinners from home. “The yogurt is amazing. I do not even like coconut yogurt but this was off the charts. Food was awesome. I had a lovely salad with a fermented yogurt dressing and fermented veggies. The taste was amazing and I felt great after. Service was awesome and we learned so much about fermenting! Lovely people 100% recommend that you should stop in.“

I really can’t rate the service though because I’ve only eaten inside once (they have a good pickup service that’s great for introverts, or just someone who’s in a rush). I believe they do have a bar there but it’s not like a full on pub, so I’d say it’s still pretty child friendly. They’ve got plenty of other good stuff too. :)“

That's not a bad thing, but it would be nice to see some new lighter dishes. I had the lite version of the Parmesan Chicken which was more than filling.
