Love the new renovation and the paired down food options. Some needed a little more seasoning. Either salt or an acid. Overall very good and will be back!! Oh and that spice cake. Yum!!
Wow- eat here ! Lovely ambiance , terrific service and incredible food . Try the steelhead trout , the steak , the burger, the beets , the carrots , the Caesar salad , the ice box dessert and the delicious wines . Wonderful
The newly renovated restaurant at Sugar Bowl Lodge was a perfect place to enjoy a special birthday dinner. Riding the gondola from HWY 40 to the lodge at sunset with full moon rising was magical. We enjoyed the interesting items on the menu with gluten-free, dairy-free options.
The Dining Room at the Village Lodge offers an exceptional culinary experience. With a new chef and decor, the restaurant has taken its place as one of the best in the Tahoe area. The menu features unique dishes, such as Steelhead Duck l'Orange Steak Tartare and Sticky (Toffee) Pudding, while the in-house espresso bar adds a touch of luxury. The mid-century modern atmosphere is thoughtfully designed, making it a special space to enjoy a meal. The chef was able to accommodate various dietary restrictions, including gluten free and dairy free. It is wonderful to dine on Michelin Star quality food right here in the Truckee area. The Dining Room is a must-visit for hotel guests, homeowners, and resort visitors alike.
