Quick, friendly service! The chili hit the spot.
This experience was absolutely amazing and I wish I could give more than a five star review. Courtney who was our server was amazing and so friendly and loved being talking and cracking jokes even my kid was laughing. Absolutely amazing and I will make the trip from Florida just to go back to here. The experience capped off exactly what we were looking for in our trip to California. To top it all off the food was absolutely astonishing.
This was the best experience we have had. The food was amazing. Great beer. Beverages over the top.

The Pub at Donner Lake offers excellent food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. Guests highly recommend this spot for its quality napkins, water at the table, and delicious food. The food is absolutely fantastic, with a great selection of draft beers and a memorable brisket sandwich, which features thick slabs of perfectly smoked in-house brisket. While the pozole was a miss for one reviewer, the pub tacos were a hit. The turkey pesto is beautifully served with plenty of avocado, and the fries come with a tasty gravy dipping sauce. The lug nuts, which are tater tots and jalapeños wrapped in bacon with cheese sauce, are also delicious. The place can get a bit busy and loud, but the friendly servers and reasonable prices make it worth it. The huge portion sizes make it a popular spot among locals. The steak dip and pomegranate chicken sandwich were both flavorful and satisfying, and the pretzel bites and prawns were delicious appetizers. Overall, it’s a great spot to eat, with quick and nice service that makes it a place worth returning to.
