Had a bad experience with an employee but the new owner reached out and apologized. She told me she talked to corporate and the employee himself.

Employees are previous hires and nothing to do with the new ownership. She told me she has had many problems with the previous hires.

Given that new ownership has barely been a month and a half as of writing this message, I hope the problems are resolved in the near future.“

“I don't care for this location the pizzas were good But you feel like you're in the hood when you go in there Big security glass windows. Between you and the employees.
Apparently they have had to do that because of the customer base in the area to help protect their employees.“

“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“I have ordered from these guys at least three or four times delivered by DoorDash and I am typically a foodie when it comes to gourmet food and these guys got it nailed down even for a pizza place- very quality and wide menu selection keep up the great work“

“Tried Bollywood pizza after hearing about it from friends, and ordered the butter chicken pizza. The crust is pretty good and the pizza was flavourful. I’d say that the butter chicken flavour could have been incorporated even more, but everything else was pretty good! Asked for a lassi, but they sadly didn’t have any.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem — a gorgeous little nook that feels incredibly warm, quaint, and inviting the moment you arrive. The atmosphere alone makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

The food is absolutely delicious across the board. From the wine to the olives, every bite feels thoughtfully curated. The pizza is outstanding, the lasagna is rich and comforting, and everything we tried was full of flavor and made with care. You can genuinely taste the quality and love put into the dishes.

It’s one of those rare spots where both the ambiance and the food are equally memorable. A truly five-star experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back.

So I personally only do the take out since I live right down the street and I have only positive experiences with them :)“

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. “Finally got the chance to come with a friend for lunch after strolling around the farmer’s market. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out, has bar seating, tables, and a spacious patio underneath lovely midtown trees. The inside is super bright, lots of decor on the walls, flowers everywhere, and the energy was great.

We came on an early Saturday afternoon with no reservation but were seated after 20 minutes. Even then, the restaurant was packed! I would definitely recommend getting a reservation if you plan to come later in the evening and/or have a large group with you (it was only two of us).

I decided to order the soup of the day, which I believe was a squash/butternut squash soup, Parmesan and truffle fries, and my friend ordered the truffle macaroni and cheese with the “the hipster” cocktail. They also brought complimentary rosemary bread and oil. The bread was soft, the cocktail was great and very decent portion, the soup was perfectly balanced and went great with the toasted bread. The fries were a little cold but tasty and came with garlic aioli and ketchup. My friend said her macaroni and cheese was yummy and she would order again. The menu is full of options and we will definitely be back to try more things. Must come if wanting either a romantic night out or a lovely dinner with friends!“

We ordered a 2 liter coke, small pizza, sampler and a antipasto salad . A man answered and as I ordered, took time to explain what was on each item and how the salad was stacked. He gave me the price and said it would be about 40mins. In 30 mins came a knock on the door. All my items and a very large salad. “You know I don't give 5s but I tell ya. I walked into this pizza place on a whim and boy oh boy was I impressed!! I have NEVER found or understood the whole New York concept of folding your pizza over until now. My goodness the pizza experience elevated immensely.

The crust with the sauce and pepperoni all flowed and literally melted in my mouth. I always sprinkled red pepper and parmessan but this pizza didnt even need it.

There was a family that came in while I was waiting and they decided to leave. I know they are kicking themselves because this pizza is IT!!

“We had a good experience as a family, ordered a couple different pizzas and tried different toppings. Both pizzas were very good, not your everyday pizza. It was nice to have something different. I only gave the atmosphere a 2 because it's not the best area, it is quiet at the spot and they do have some outdoor seating. It's a very small shop so taking it to go is probably the intention more so than dine in.“

“Last night was our first visit here & we will absolutely be returning! We had the blackberry jalapeño margaritas, pickle chips, garlicky steak sandwich & BBQ burger & everything tasted AMAZING! Derek H was our server & he gave us the best service we've had in probably years! He was on top of things (like refills & app plates) but also wasn't on top of *us*!! I like that you can somewhat see into the kitchen. Having been a server myself I know that sometimes the kitchen can be hectic but I could see the chefs laughing with each other while they prepared meals. And that to me is a sign of a good restaurant - all the employees seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as one can at work! We have been searching for more local business to spend our time & money with & a big selling point to me, personally, was that their main website page shows that they are not only tolerant or accepting of lgbtqia+ people but they are absolutely affirming. I hope Ashlie & her family are doing as best as can be expected. The website mentions "community" and I didn't expect to feel that the first night but I absolutely did. An older woman felt comfortable enough to come & compliment my skirt & tell me a brief tidbit about her life. And while that may not be 747's doing directly, it does feel like they foster that community feel! Thank you to Kitchen 747 & it's staff for making our first visit memorable!
