“A Taste of the Philippine IslandsThis bakery, and their Panorama City location, sells pampagueño tamales. Valerio’s is the only place I know that sells them.The masa is very fine. The whole thing is savory. It’s wrapped in banana leaves. Not sure if pampangueño tamales come in different types, but the ones that Valerio’s sells have chicken and sliced boiled egg inside.*Side Note: The spinach and tomatoes in one of the pictures was made by me. Definitely not available at Valerio’s.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

The restaurant feels alive. No two tables are alike, every corner is decorated, and live flowers are all over.

The menu has a mix of traditional Armenian plates and Americanized offerings, along with an extensive coffee list.

And it really feels like everything here is meant to be shared. Not just because the portions are large, which they are, but because the presentation inspires conversation, whether it's from beauty or nostalgia. It really feels like popping into a long lost family member's house for a meal.“

Bakeries are yummy.You can tell it made fresh and it wasn’t super sweet.Bread are soft and croissant are flaky and delicious! The strawberry short cake and blueberry one are great and those fresh berries are really good.
Service : Staffs are nice and friendly.
Vibe : Bright and clean and the whole place smell so good!
Parking : There are plenty of parking but if you want to park at the parking area right in front,On the weekend might be a challenge because still other business around there that use the same parking lot too but you still have a choice of parking garage as well.
Overall this place became my go to when I think about bakeries now.“

Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.“

“My friends and I stopped by this Crumbl inside NoHo west so I can get their holiday theme cookie which is just a cookie with m&m. This store isn't that big inside but it works for them.

We found parking in the lot where the store is at. We just ordered from the little tablet since there was only one woman working and she was doing other stuff. The price is on the higher end but my friend used his reward points. Once the order was placed, the lady came to put it in a box for me. The cookie was alright, I think it needed more m&m“

There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“This is your typical family owned bakery where you are treated as family, very good bread, fresh coffee is served in the early hours of the morning, prices are reasonable, parking space is not always a good thing since the bakery shares the shopping with other businesses. “One of my favorite donut places in the valley!! Donuts are always fresh and soft, the ham and cheese croissants are delicious, and they have some of the best Vietnamese coffee!! “Talk about a whole in the wall. Bakery is kinda hidden, you'll miss it if you don't pay attention. They have a bolillo sandwich called guateque. Bolillo with beans, queso fresco, asada, jalapeños & salsa on the side. It is delicious anytime of day. Their pan dulce is also good. They have mini & regular size pan dulce & bolillo. I do have to mention that the place is really small, so is their parking. I suggest you call your order in for the guateques since they are always busy. I know you will love the guateque de asada! I haven't tried the guateque de huevo con chorizo yet. That'll be the next one I try. Enjoy!“

But I can’t complain as they cater to ur every whim/special requests like for extras or add- ons. Customers leave happy and satisfied that’s why they keep coming back for more. “The atmosphere is very much like grab n' go, but if you need a place to sit and quickly enjoy some food it's good too! The tamales are good, the pan dulce is good and the champurrado is delicious! The champurrado is not too sweet which I really appreciate coming from a family of diabetics. Pricing is fair, they bake everything there so it's definitely worth it!“
