“A little hard to find as this place isn't called Empanada Coco, but Al Basch Chicken. They no longer mainly specialize in empanadas. Its Mediterranean food. They do have a plate of 2 empanadas and we got beef and chicken. Absolutely amazing. Lady at the register was extremely sweet.“

“A number of vegan choices. I tried cashew cheese empanada and lentil/quinoa. My husband had samosa with mint chutney and mushroom & homemade. All were great, with the exception of the samosa with chutney. But, that’s one persons opinion! Updated from previous review on 2026-08-30“

“After our last experience trying to order food somewhere else, Nonna’s Empanadas completely saved the day.
My girlfriend and I ordered the beef empanada with ground beef, red peppers, olives, egg, and onion, and saying it was fantastic is honestly an understatement. It had that perfect “wow, this is actually really good” reaction from both of us.
The flavor was excellent, the filling was rich and balanced, and one empanada is the perfect amount to curb your appetite. Two would definitely be a full meal.
My girlfriend and I both agreed it was absolutely fantastic. Simple, delicious, and memorable. Huge wow factor. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I recommend this Ghost Kitchen Food. Wanted a Dominican Breakfast (smashed platanos with pickled onions, fried egg, cheese and salami). So for my Birthday I asked the family to go Dominican Food Hopping in LA. I chose 3 restaurants. This spot was our first stop and the best of all.“
