“The place is gorgeous, especially if you love a nice terrace. The food... Is it because it's the only middle Eastern gluten free place, or is it because the ingredients are fresh, or is it because the preparation is perfect, or maybe it's all the small details... I think it's all of the above, one of the best middle Eastern places in LA, and the best gluten free one :) enjoy their manahish!“
“Had a fantastic dining experience at "Bowery Bungalow"! The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu and delicious flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.“
“Hadn't been here for years but always the same great experience. Amazing service from everyone and the food was outstanding. The lule kebab is my favorite followed by the lamb chop.. Everything is fresh and you can tell that there is a lot of Culinary respect in the kitchen.“
“Update after a few years: Everything was good. Disregard my old commentHere's my short review:1.they're nice and the place is also friendly.2. the foods I ordered, except for Tabbouleh, were not good in taste. The presentation was good.*this is my perception, the way I felt and tasted their food. I did not see a special thing about those two foods I ordered. You might have a different experience.“
“JoJo's Lebanese take on shawarma is flavorful and delicious, with soft and lightly seasoned meat atop tasty warm rice. The chili and garlic sauces that accompany the food are fresh made too and really add zing to the meal as I alternate what to dip the various meats into. It all came with a solid hummus, warm pita bread points, and a side salad, perfectly and lightly dressed in a lemony dressing w a hint of sumac that felt healthy...While the ambiance is not much here, JoJo's is really all about the food, and the owner's care and his very warm and accommodating staff are to be commended for the fine meals, generous portions, and all around top notch service they all provide as a team.Excellent food!Food 10/10Service 10/10“
“Mantee is one of the best Armenian restaurants in studio city. The service is always on point and the serves have great knowledge of the menu. Some of the must haves are fried cheese, mantee, yogurt, the filet plate is to die for. If you want good Armenian food you must visit here. @“
“Good vegetarian options Falafel Pie is great! Saj perfect + fresh Good prices & options. Za'atar not too salty / and the Labneh is delicious ... Really love this place! Convenient location for me, near the bank and Trader Joe's, across from Target. Service is great and it's not too cramped to sit and eat inside if you need a minute. Love Lebanese food!“

And I love that they have vegetarian options lots of vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: They have tons of vegetarian options. “Best place to go out to eat something quickly! Their food is absolutely amazing, I would definitely recommend the spicy chicken baguette if you prefer spicy foods, or the beef shawarma if you don’t. The service was great as well!! The staff is really kind and regularly cleans the tables too.“
“We are visiting from Oregon and craved some shawarma, I’m glad we came to Roro’s. The food was delicious, fresh, and good portions. The place is clean and cozy, they even have some tables for dining in. The owners are so warm and hospitable, you’ll feel right at home.Roro’s is a must try otherwise you’ll be missing out on some great food and amazing people.“
“Excellent food. I was the only customer in the place not of Middle Eastern descent. For me, thats an excellent sign that the food is very good.I got the combo with chicken, beef, and kafta kabobs. All were very good. Tender meat that tastes fresh. Cooked just right. Chicken and beef were very juicy. Beef was not fatty. The hummus was a little heavy on the tahini flavor for me.I've been here several times through the years and I've never been disappointed.Storefront place with indoor seating only.Parking lot is pretty small, so I can see parking being difficult during busy times of day.“
“This is amazing! I love and miss my grandmas cooking so finding a place that has all my favorites frozen was incredible. I keep Manti and the koftas in my freezer for quick meals. Here at least once a week during my grocery runs. Super convenient, delicious food, and great service.Vegetarian options: They had over 40 vegetarian and vegan dishes.“
“After driving past here a zillion times, I finally decided to give it a try on Easter. They were open until 5:30pm and this girl did not want to make baklava to go with our Middle Eastern feast. The gal who helped me was very nice and let me know which tray was the most popular. She also offered me a sample to try. It was so fresh and delicious!I bought a 36 piece variety of pistachios and walnut baklava. It was around $39. Each pound costs $17. Well worth it. My family devoured it! And I still had a few pieces left to enjoy at home.*Plenty of free parking in the lot. Just west of Cold Water Canyon on the North west corner of Sherman Way.*Great for parties of any kind*Absolutely fresh and stays that was for days!“

“Authentic, made to order (thus takes a while), delicious wraps in a casual setting - only a couple choices (beef or chicken) which as a person that gets quickly overwhelmed with options, I definitely appreciated. Garlic sauce was particularly amazing, parking was a little difficult - not the best place for a larger group (we had around 10) but good for take-out or a very casual small group“
“The hospitality from the hostess and my waiter was outstanding. They both exuded genuine enthusiasm, enhancing my own excitement about being there. The ambiance is warm and intimate. I savored the melon salad, cakes, burger, and sesame cookie. The melon salad was a delightful mix of flavors, with a light and refreshing broth. The cakes lived up to their reputation. The burger surpassed all expectations and stands as the best I've ever tasted. The cookie provided the perfect conclusion to my meal, with its subtle sweetness and delectable brown butter notes. I eagerly anticipate my next visit!“
“Amazing baklava! My friend just took me there Sat.It was a wonderland of Baklava. Never saw so many varieties!Loved everyone we tried! He got an assortment to go and it is taking lots of will power not to eat all at once!!!Excellent Baklava!!!!“
“My recent dining experience at Open Sesame was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Despite not having a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 15 minutes. The food was like a home-cooked meal, incredibly authentic, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was a delightful experience, and it was evident that great care was taken in preparing them. The service was also outstanding, exceeding all expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with delicious, homestyle food and impeccable service.“
“Had the pleasure of dining at Zahle last night. Food was perfect and service was incredible. We ordered the kibbeh nayyeh, fried kibbeh, a Lebanese salad, chicken and filet mignon skewers, lamb chops over rice and had their delicious ashta. Will be coming back for sure.“
“Amazing food, terrific and super friendly service. Pro-tip: Fridays and Saturdays the place features professional entertainment from headliners from the Middle East. The show starts at 9p, so nobody —and I mean NOBODY— shows up before 830p those evenings. Except us. Naively, we went there Saturday evening a bit after 730p. We were literally the first and only patrons in this cavernous venue. The place is large and not intimate. We initially thought the restaurant —which looks and occasionally operates as a dining hall— was booked for a private event later the evening. Wrong. The staff kindly humored us and prepared a feast. Around 830, folks started to appear. We had other commitments so unfortunately we had to leave before the entertainment started. We'll be back another weekend evening. At 9.“
“My family loves this place. We’ve been coming here for years. Both my mom and my mother in law both ask to go eat here every time they visit! That’s the sign it’s good. My fave is the foul madams, but we also always get kabob and hummus with meat, along with salad. The garlic sauce is amazing!“
