“One of my favorite breakfast places in all of Los Angeles. The food! The service! The short wait times! I can’t express how much I love it. So delicious. I always order the Thai sausage quesadillas and a waffle on the side. Waffles are to die for!!!“
“This was my first time visiting MTWs, it was recommended by a colleague. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food delicious! Eggs s cooked to perfection, waffles light & tasty. I had the peanut butter chocolate waffle (1/2) with eggs, breakfast potatoes and ham. I can't wait to introduce MTWs to my friends.“
“It was my first going, and the ambience was nice and the service was AMAZING. The worker was super helpful and helped my sister and I choose a drink, I went with the lavender bloom latte (iced) and it was phenomenal, the cold foam was really good and the lavender flavor was delicious, not perfumey or soapy like other places lavender drinks. I will definitely be returning soon.“
“I love coming to this little cart for some dessert. I really have enjoyed everything from the honey nut pancakes to my favorite cheese tayaki. I recently got the sweet potato cheese pancakes and yet again delicious! Staff is always very friendly too.“
“I love this place! The chicken is deliciously spicy. I love spice, so I get hot spice and it's perfect. The fries are well seasoned and crispy. The white sauce is the best sauce. My order is always ready when I get there and the staff is very kind!“
“From the customer service to the food and drinks, you can’t go wrong. I ordered the lavender latte and a breakfast croissant. Both were delicious and fulfilling. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and plenty of street parking. I will definitely be back and look forward to making this my new breakfast spot!“
“The lemon ricotta pancakes were out of this world! They have a lot to choose from. We went on a Sunday and managed to beat the crowd that started to trickle in around 930. Lots of seating inside. They also have outdoor seating in the front and back area.“
“What a little gem. I wanted something a bit different from franchise coffeeshop (there is so many just within this 4 to 5 blocks on Wilshire from Wilton to Western) and craved a iced dirty chai latte and this place was great. The owner/batista was very welcoming and nice. The drink was great and the place was clean.“
“Been coming here for a couple months and I'm so glad I found this coffee shop! Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I usually get a Mocha or Horchata Latte with Oatmilk and every cup is ground and brewed fresh to order. The service I've had has been nothing but great! Overall highly recommend coming here for a quick cup of coffee or for something to eat like bagels, paninis, waffles, and Acai bowls!“
“I can't wait to go back to The Waffle! lol The break is amazing! I got the classic Belgian waffle and it did not disappoint! I came with a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed their food. The mimosas are on point as well and we ordered a few shots which were pretty big for the price, which I like! The service and location are great. Highly recommend!“
“Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles is a place you must visit to cross off your bucket list at least once to see what the hype is ALl about. If you're visiting for the first time, I would recommend trying "Scoe's" 1/4 chicken or the "Herb's" 1/2 chicken entrée. It all really depends on how hungry you are. They are essentially the same, except the Scoe's is smaller, while the Herb's has more chicken. They both come with 2 waffles. You have the choice of white meat or dark meat chicken.Pictured is the Scoe's special, mac and cheese, and Biscuits and gravy.I recommend eating the chicken with Louisiana hot sauce, dipping your chicken in syrup, and eating the chicken together with the waffle. Their waffles are amazing. They are made with Roscoe's own private mix.You can also try their chicken with some of Roscoe's own personal hot sauce bottles. They make different ones than the go-to Louisiana hot sauce. You can buy some of their hot sauce bottles and a T-shirt to take home at their locations. I've been to two different locations, the Hollywood and South Central Manchester locations.Neither of them disappoint.I used to frequent Roscoe's regularly about 10 years back when i was in town for shows or visiting the old Amoeba location. This place hasn't changed much. Still bomb!Wait times may vary.Parking is either super easy or somewhat difficult to find. Depending on the time you are showing up, it can get very busy. There are paid parking meeters on Gower Street. Depending on the day and time, the meeters are free. You should be able to find parking around the area. A short walk to a delicious meal never hurts. Also, the "obama special" was pretty popular.I added 3 pictures taken with my film camera. Enjoy the HollyHood location!Parking: Street parking is free at certain times and days. Please read signs to acknowledge if you're able to park for free“
“My favourite cold brew. Great spacious calm environment. It feels like being inside one of those café ambience YouTube videos. Very friendly staff. Nice area close to shops. Lots of parking and a lovely view of the hills. Would love it if they had more vegan options, but the avocado toast is delicious!Vegetarian options: The avocado toast is vegan if you order it without the cheese.“
“The waffles are delicious. The chocolate dip is very warm when you receive it but cools down real quick. I would have preferred a spherical ice cream instead of the strip of ice cream on the side so that it's easier for me to scoop but ice cream is ice cream.“
“This charming cafe has instantly become my go-to spot for crepes. My favorite one is the banana strawberry and nutella one. The crepes are perfectly thin and beautifully folded, with just the right amount of Nutella and fresh banana, strawberry slices. During my last visit I also tried their Oreo milkshake, and it was beyond delicious. The shakes are thick, creamy, and bursting with flavor. They don't skimp on the ingredients, and you can taste the quality. The staff here is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Roll Cafe's commitment to excellent customer service adds another layer of charm to this already wonderful cafe. It's a place where you not only enjoy fantastic food but also feel genuinely valued as a customer.“
“Unfortunately it is not Zuckerwaffles. I came here after reading that they used pearl sugar and I hoped it would taste like Belgium and shops in the USA that make it (Waffles and Dinges in NYC for example or Zinneken's Belgian waffles in Boston). They're very good waffles but not Liege Zuckerwaffles. SUPER nice staff, service is Great! As long as you aren't dying for Zuckerwaffles, try it. ? If you want those, either East coast or Belgium?“
“First time trying The Dolly Llama, the server was very helpful in explaining how the waffle dessert works. Ended up with the Dolly’s Dream sun mint n’ chip and cookie butter sauce. The warm bubble waffle with ice cream allows it to go down smooth, the waffle is very thick.“
“I had the best waffle here. I like that you can customize your own with tons of different options and it was fresh and warm and delicious. I do feel like the prices were a bit high to add ice cream and such but not terrible. I didn't love this location just because parking isn't the best and the area is a bit creepy at night but they had good seating inside and are open late.“
“We stopped here on our way out of town and I am SO glad we did! The food was amazingggg and our service was great. We had the cajun chicken & waffles and the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!“
