“This was an awesome experience for our boys, ages 11, 9 and 6. My oldest boys had brought their own R/C trucks to try on the track, but they quickly realized that the trucks available to rent there were far superior, and the track was designed with that size in mind. It was well worth paying more to rent their trucks, but also fun to put our on trucks to the test. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving the kids plenty of guidance, and staying out on the track to rescue trucks that flipped over. The bathroom was clean, water cooler available, and there were plenty of tables with umbrellas to provide shade. The onsite food truck provided yummy, family friendly food. The word needs to get out about this place—it’s great!“

“Authentic Mexican cuisine 100%. I’ve been eating at this place for a couple years now and I gotta say, it’s the absolute best roasted chicken joint in San Fernando, hands down. This place has never disappointed me. I got the usual mix plate (half roasted chicken/ half steak) with a side of cold macaroni pasta and refried beans (frijoles puercos). Nothing else to say, I recommend this place 100%.“

“Wonderful food! But more importantly, wonderful customer service. Ordered through doordash (little late night snack) and no dasher accepted the order. I called the resturant, 5 minutes before closing assuming they would just cancel my order. Instead they said we will drop it off ourselves! Not only did they deliver within 15 minutes, the included a couple sodas as an apology. GREAT experience with them will definitely be ordering again!!!“

“I’ve been going to Nico’s since 1988. Fernando was a waiter when we first started going and watched my sons grow up from being babies to now in their 30’s. We had to stop going regularly because my husband and I moved out of state, but every time we visit California, we make it a point to visit. It’s always a joy to see everyone. Most of the staff has been there for years and years. Great food, amazing customer service, good prices.“

The food was delicious and the price were reasonable especially because our meal included a half sandwich, soup, salad and fountain drink. Sign up for the reward program to earn free food. My bill for 3 people was around $55 and I redeemed my points and my bill came down to $38. I love these discounts! Great food, great service and great prices here at the Norms in Van Nuys!“
