“We came from Yosemite and looking for a nice food to eat. All that we see is american foods until we found this restaurant. The food is really good and worth it. I liked the hot and sour soup and egg flower soup. We ordered Family B for dinner and we only paid $35+ the menu says good for 2 but it is actually good for family of 3-4. We had to take the leftover food home because the serving is a lot. We also liked the cream cheese wontons. The server is also very friendly. My daughter doesn't really like people but she liked the server. We will definitely be back again next time. Thank you“

“Last week on the way back from Yosemite late evening, we're hungry and wanted to have dinner before getting home late. We searched on the map and we found this restaurant in Oakdale.
It's in a huge parking lot that is easy to find a space, it was a Friday and quite a few people in the restaurant, good sign.
This seems to be a family owned restaurant, the 2 brothers seem to take care of everything from busting the table to serving. They're both quite pleasant and attentive.
Looking at the menu, the prices are quite reasonable, every dish is under $18.
We're hungry and tired so we ordered the wor wonton soup to start, our favorite Chinese soup, we got the medium but quite large for both of us since we wanted to order something else.
The soup is quite tasty although the color of the soup isn't as clear as other restaurant, the wontons are over cooked and the skin are falling off the meat, everything else is good.
Mu Shu pork: it came with 5 chinese tortilla, quite large, a little thick but eatable, the stir fried ingredients are quite flavorful. It's also huge, I think it's intended for 5 people as appetizer.
Beef Chow Fun (dry) which we like, came out very good and the portion is also big. It looks like we're going to take a whole bunch home.
The Sizzling combo plate is quite sizzling and very tasty, but we could only try a few bites because we're full.
This restaurant is quite amazing for the area. We're glad we found this place, everything is inexpensive and quite excellent.
Next time if we go to Yosemite, we may stop by.“

“My family had to stop by here for a quick and late dinner after a long 9 hour trip. This place is amazing. Their staff is very nice as long as you communicate with them nicely and the food is very delicious. It has everything a Chinese restaurant needs and theres nothing more I would ask for. “Okay so right when Jimmy's sushi took over the last Chinese food spot I decided to give it a shot ! & It was SO worth it ! The employees are awesome ( I believe it's father & son) they have FRESH ingredients & their hand rolls are top tier , but what really got me were their prices ! They have GREAT prices for quality sushi ! I've gotten the pleasure of trying their spicy tuna hand roll & the crispy tempura roll , both AMAZING! “Been coming here since i was a kid, i remember my parents getting off work and taking me here to buy food. Local business thats been around for YEARS! freshness made to order & quality. I also enjoy knowing its a family owned business and ive seen the family grow over the years of me being a customer. If you want real chicken and real food this is the place to come. expect REAL FOOD. And not perfectly shaped orange chicken pieces. The flavor of the food is perfect & the orange chicken & chow mein taste good!! even my 2 year old daughter eats it!! portions are big and essentially you are paying for quality.

“our friends told us about the Golden Bowl Chinese Restaurant in Waterdord CA. it was a quick 11 mile drive from our home in Modesto CA. We were greeted when we walked in and seated at a booth. Our server and his assistant were very friendly. We started off with 2 egg rolls. They were hot and the dipping sauce was really good. I had the Garlic Chicken with steamed rice. My wife had the Szechwan Chicken with steamed rice. I was impressed with my garlic chicken, it had really good flavor and was a large portion. It reminded me of David Wongs China Gate in Modesto. so if you are in the Waterford area and craving Chinese food check out the Golden Bowl. The parking may be tight as there are a few businesses in this small strip mall.“

“I ordered the orange chicken, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice with a eggroll. It was very delicious, the orange chicken was cooked perfectly, it had a very nice crust, not too oily and the chicken inside was moist and delicious. The pork chow mein noodles were cooked very good, done just the way it should be. Seasoned very good, and not mushy at all. The rice was normal, yet still delicious. The eggroll was normal. Over all it was a very decent meal and I enjoyed it. It smelled clean and looked clean, I will definitely be coming back and I encourage you to give this spot a try. You want be disappointed!“

“We recently celebrated a few birthdays here, and every time was great. For a party of 8 we spent about $135 with purchasing drinks as well. So under 5 is free. After 3:30 is all you can eat I’d recommend going at these time. You basically choose from a buffet of meat, and vegetables they cook it for on a high wok it’s worth it!! And with my daughter being sensitive to shrimp, they cleaned the wok every time, and we’ve had no reactions like with other places!! They do delivery with DoorDash, but they stay packed cause the food is amazing!!!“

I usually come Monday through Thursday around 2:00 p.m. and I made the mistake of coming in Friday at 2 :00 and the food was just horrible in every way. Service was still with a smile and efficient. “I ordered over the phone for Pickup: Beef Vegetable Stir Fry and Chicken Fried Rice. Tasted good just as I expected. Only thing I don't like is the typical chinese restaurant puffy beef meat. Their chicken meat is not puffy, so it tasted better. If you cannot eat oyster sauce (e.g. due to allergies to crustaceans), make sure you tell them so and to substitute oyster sauce with soy sauce for the fried rice and substitute brown sauce with white sauce for the stir frys. That's what I did, and the nice lady who took my order made sure the food was done to my request. Pricing is good.“

“we eat there often since we found the buffet a year ago. The girls in there are very on spot. They refill your drinks and wagon when you leave, they vacuum the tables, wipe the tables and the chairs off. It is so clean. The food is delicious.“
