Food is just amazing, if you haven’t had Ethiopian food before do yourself a favor and try it. Eating with injera just with your hands is weird at first but it’s so good you’ll start eating as if you had always eaten like that
The restaurant was a great experience and came with my friend. One suggestion for the owner is add some Eritrean and/or Ethiopian country maps as well as some cultural designs. The pineapple cake dessert tasted great and had a lower amount of sugar which was great in addition to it also being shared between two people. My friend is a vegetarian and they have great options for vegetarians. We also chatted with the owner and he shared with us that they recently opened 9 months ago....read full review

Cool place to go eat. I came here for the first time during my birthday and I loved everything about it. The decoration, the food, the service, and the cleanliness. I'm surprised this place doesn't get crowded. It's a must-go for Oakland people. The food was delicious!!! I'll keep trying more of their dishes. Also, I'm thankful for the service because people were so polite and patient. I 100% recommend.
