Great food and great music .... all you need .... great friends to join you.
We ordered the veggie combo special and samosas today at Tenescal Street Fair. The plate had 3 kinds of lentils and women, the samosas were $5 for 3 and were tasty. Ran us $28 for 2 plates plus samosas.
Happened upon this place while I was walking alone in the neighborhood running an errand. I live in SF and hardly ever come to Oakland. (i know, terrible)
This place was DELICIOUS. Tried the “sampler dinner” (it was not actually called this, but I forget what it was called) and it was delicious!! My favorite was the chicken (spiciest), then beef, then the lamb (i would never order the lamb, wasn’t bad I just love spice).
